He entered a restaurant and stole a wallet from inside a woman’s handbag, and the Information Division arrested him within 48 hours.

The following statement was issued by the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division: On November 14, 2025, citizen L.H. (born in 2004) reported that while she was inside a restaurant in the Nahr neighborhood of Beirut, an unidentified person stole her wallet, containing money and personal documents, from her bag, which she had left on a seat inside the restaurant. Immediately, the specialized units of the Information Division initiated field and investigative procedures to identify and apprehend the perpetrator. As a result of the investigations and inquiries, they were able to identify him within a few hours. He is: – M.R. (born in 1996, Lebanese) On November 16, 2025, after careful surveillance, a patrol from the Division arrested him in the same neighborhood. He confessed to the crime. The necessary legal action was taken against him, and he was placed in the custody of the relevant authority, based on the instructions of the competent judiciary.

A well-planned ambush by the Beirut Investigation Unit resulted in the arrest of two drug dealers and the seizure of a quantity of drugs.

Issued by the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement: As part of the ongoing efforts of the Internal Security Forces to combat crime in various regions and apprehend perpetrators, particularly those involved in drug trafficking and distribution, the Beirut Investigation Detachment of the Beirut Police Unit received information about two drug dealers heading towards the Souk al-Ahad area on a motorcycle. Following investigations and inquiries, the detachment identified the two men. They were identified as: – Kh. A. (born in 1997, Palestinian), wanted for drug-related offenses and for coercion into committing an indecent act. – M. S. (Born in 1997, Lebanese) On October 24, 2025, a patrol from the detachment spotted them in the aforementioned area. A well-planned ambush led to their arrest while riding an unregistered motorcycle. A search of the individuals and the motorcycle yielded 30 transparent bags, each containing a quantity of Salvia distillate, divided and packaged for distribution. The detainees and the seized items were handed over to the relevant authorities for further legal action, as directed by the competent judicial body.

The anti-gambling bureau arrests one of the most dangerous managers of illegal gambling and betting networks.

Issued by the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement: As part of the ongoing efforts of the Internal Security Forces to combat crime and reduce its spread, on December 6, 2025, the Anti-Gambling Bureau of the Judicial Police Unit received information about a network operating illegal online gambling and betting. Bureau patrols initiated the necessary investigations and inquiries, revealing that the network’s activities extended to areas in North Lebanon and Hermel. Following diligent follow-up, officers from this bureau were able to arrest all members of the network on various dates. The investigations revealed that these individuals were linked to one of the largest promoters of illegal online gambling. On December 8, 2025, in the Safir area, he was arrested by a joint patrol of the Anti-Gambling Bureau and the Mount Lebanon Investigation Detachment of the Regional Gendarmerie Unit. His name is: – M.A.M. (Born in 1975, Lebanese) Phones, computers, and electronic equipment used to manage the network were also seized. The investigation is ongoing under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.

The Information Division arrested a gang that stole from inside damaged homes in the border town of Blida and stole electrical cables.

The following statement was issued by the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division: As part of the Internal Security Forces’ daily efforts to combat theft crimes in various Lebanese regions, the Information Division received information about unidentified individuals committing thefts from damaged homes in the border town of Blida, Marjeyoun District, in addition to stealing electrical cables from the public grid. Consequently, the specialized units within the Division initiated field and investigative procedures to identify and apprehend the members of the gang. As a result of the investigations and inquiries, the Division was able to identify them as: – H.A. (born in 1971, Lebanese) – M.A. (born in 2002, Lebanese) – H.H. (Born in 1999, Lebanese) On November 24 and 25, 2025, following careful surveillance, patrols from the division apprehended them at their locations in Blida. During questioning, they confessed to committing more than 20 burglaries of residential homes in the town, stealing electrical wiring from the public grid. The stolen items included batteries, inverters, household furniture, and electrical cables, which they sold to scrap metal dealers. The necessary legal procedures were carried out, and they were handed over to the relevant authorities, as directed by the competent judicial body.

They were distributing drugs on a motorcycle in Keserwan, and the Information Division arrested them and seized a quantity of illegal substances.

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: As part of the daily efforts undertaken by the ISF to combat drug trafficking in various Lebanese regions, the Information Division received intelligence indicating that two unidentified individuals were distributing drugs while riding an unidentified motorcycle in the Keserwan area. Accordingly, orders were given to the specialized units of the Branch to carry out field and investigative procedures to identify and arrest the two dealers. As a result of the investigations conducted by the Branch’s personnel, it was determined that they are: Z. (born in 1996, Lebanese) G. (born in 2002, Syrian) On 21-11-2025, after close surveillance, one of the Branch’s patrols was able to locate them on a motorcycle in the Adonis area, where an ambush was set and they were arrested, and the motorcycle was seized. Upon searching them and the motorcycle, the following were found: 19 paper packets containing cocaine 9 plastic capsules containing cocaine Two bags containing marijuana and two others containing hashish Rolling papers and Sanita papers Two mobile phones and a sum of money During interrogation, they confessed to distributing drugs in the Keserwan area using the motorcycle on which they were arrested. The necessary legal measures were taken against them, and they were handed over—along with the seized items—to the competent authorities upon the instructions of the relevant judiciary.

The Mount Lebanon Investigation Unit arrests a man who stole from a shop and another who shot a person, injuring him in the leg.

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: As part of the daily follow-up conducted by the Internal Security Forces to combat crime across various Lebanese regions, and after a video circulated on social media showing an individual stealing from inside a shop, operational units intensified their field and intelligence measures to identify the perpetrator and determine his whereabouts. As a result of the investigation, the Mount Lebanon Investigation Unit of the Regional Gendarmerie identified the suspect and located his residence in the Airport Road area. A patrol from the unit then raided the location and arrested the suspect, identified as: M. Ch. (born in 1983, Syrian), according to his statements. In his possession, officers seized a quantity of cocaine and hashish, a sum of money, two mobile phones, and a black Sweet motorcycle. In the same context, and based on information obtained by the Mount Lebanon Investigation Unit about a wanted individual involved in a shooting incident that resulted in a person being injured in the leg in the Roueiss area — along with a video circulating that included an audio recording in which he confessed — a unit patrol, following close surveillance, managed to arrest him in the same area. He was identified as: N. Ch. (born in 1980, Palestinian), according to his statements. The two detainees, along with the seized items, were handed over to the relevant units to take the necessary legal measures against them, in accordance with the instructions of the competent judicial authority.

A massage center in Dekwaneh turned into a suspicious venue: the Dekwaneh police unit, supported by the Mount Lebanon Investigation Unit, arrests 7 women and the owner, and seals the center with red wax.

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: As part of the ongoing efforts exerted by the Internal Security Forces to combat various types of crimes, the Mount Lebanon Investigation Unit of the Regional Gendarmerie received information regarding prostitution activities taking place inside a massage center in the area of Dekwaneh, where several women were being exploited for this purpose. On 20-11-2025, following intensive investigations and surveillance conducted by the unit’s members, a patrol headed to the location, supported by a team from the Dekwaneh police station, and succeeded in arresting seven (7) women of different nationalities, in addition to the center’s owner and the guard. The center was sealed with red wax, and the necessary legal measures were taken against the detainees pursuant to the instructions of the competent judicial authority.

He steals from cars in Tyre and extorts victims by impersonating a woman: the information Division arrests him.

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: As part of the daily efforts carried out by the ISF units to combat theft across various Lebanese regions, the Intelligence Division received information about an individual committing thefts from cars parked along the roadside in the seaside corniche area of Tyre. The latest incident took place on 10-11-2025, when he stole an amount of four thousand US dollars from one of the cars. A video documenting the theft was circulated. As a result, the relevant units of the Division began field and intelligence operations to identify and arrest the suspect. Through investigations, they were able to determine his identity: M. M. (born in 1982, Palestinian) On 18-11-2025, after close surveillance, one of the Division’s patrols spotted him in Tyre, set up an ambush, and arrested him. During interrogation, he confessed to the charges against him, including carrying out a large number of thefts from cars in the city of Tyre, particularly along the seaside corniche. He also admitted to committing extortion by deceiving individuals into believing he was a woman and claiming he would send them indecent photos in exchange for money. The necessary legal procedures were completed, and he was referred to the competent judicial authority as instructed.

A wanted fugitive rented a hotel room and stored a quantity of drugs inside it with the intention of distributing them later; the Information division raided the room and seized the narcotics.

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division Statement: As part of the ongoing efforts carried out by ISF units to curb drug trafficking and distribution across various Lebanese regions, the Information Branch obtained intelligence indicating that an unidentified individual was promoting narcotics in several areas of Mount Lebanon Governorate. Accordingly, the specialized units of the Branch initiated field and intelligence operations to identify and arrest the suspect. Through investigations and surveillance, the Branch succeeded in establishing his identity: A.M. (born in 1986, Lebanese), wanted on a judgment for issuing threats. Follow-up revealed that the suspect had been involved in a traffic accident in Kahaleh, where he was arrested and found in possession of three envelopes containing narcotics. Further investigation showed that the detainee had rented a room in a hotel in the city of Aley, where he was storing narcotics intended for distribution. Orders were issued to search the room and seize the drugs, in coordination with the judiciary. On 30-10-2025, a patrol from the Information Branch raided the room and seized an AK-47 rifle with a magazine and 25 rounds, in addition to a quantity of various types of narcotics, divided into 245 envelopes prepared for sale. Legal measures were taken against the detainee, and he, along with the seized items, was referred to the competent judicial authorities upon their request.

Major General Raed Abdallah signed the general agreement relating to the privileges and immunities of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol).

The Director General of the Internal Security Forces, Major General Raed Abdallah, representing the Lebanese government, signed the General Agreement on Privileges and Immunities of the International Criminal Police Organization (Interpol) in the presence of Interpol President Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi and Secretary General Valdecais Orcoza. The signing took place during the 93rd session of the Interpol General Assembly in Marrakech, Morocco, from November 24 to 27, 2025.

The Information Division arrested two people from gangs involved in stealing electrical cables, caught in the act.

The following statement was issued by the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division: As part of the ongoing efforts by various units of the Internal Security Forces to combat the theft of electrical cables and wires from the public grid throughout Lebanon, the Information Branch received information about two unidentified individuals stealing electrical cables in areas of Mount Lebanon Governorate. Following this, patrols from the aforementioned branch initiated field and investigative procedures to identify and apprehend the suspects. As a result of these investigations, their identities were established as: – M.K. (born in 2004, unregistered) – S.H. (born in 2005, Syrian national) On November 9, 2025, after careful surveillance, one of these patrols apprehended them in the act of cutting and stealing electrical wires belonging to a company in the Sin el-Fil area. Wire cutters, a hacksaw, and electrical cables were found in their possession. The two detainees and the seized items were handed over to the relevant unit to carry out the necessary legal action against them, based on the instructions of the competent judiciary.

Three dangerous fugitives wanted for forming a criminal gang, theft, financing terrorism, and trafficking in war weapons arrested by the Anti-Terrorism and Major Crimes Bureau in the Bekaa.

Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement: As part of the ongoing efforts undertaken by the Internal Security Forces units to combat various types of crimes, pursue individuals wanted by the judiciary, and arrest them, a force from the Anti-Terrorism and Major Crimes Bureau – Bekaa, affiliated with the Judicial Police Unit, carried out several raids in the towns of Ali Al-Nahri, Majdal Anjar, and Kafr Zabad. These operations resulted in the arrest of: M. (born in 1981, Lebanese), wanted by the judiciary under two arrest warrants for forming a criminal gang and theft. Ch. (born in 1973, Lebanese), wanted by the judiciary under two arrest warrants for financing terrorism and trafficking in war weapons. Ch. (born in 2009, Lebanese), wanted by the judiciary under three arrest warrants for theft and forming a criminal gang. The detainees were handed over to the competent units to take the necessary legal measures against them, in accordance with the instructions of the relevant judicial authority.
