He is married to Mrs. Mona Nasr El-Din and has two children.
He entered the military school on 01/09/1984 and graduated with the rank of lieutenant on 08/01/1986.
He rose through the ranks until he was promoted to the rank of Major General on 03/08/2017, and was appointed Director General of the Internal Security Forces.
Positions he held during his years of service:
1987 – 1989: Progressed into service in various types of Internal Security Forces centers (regional factions – traffic detachments – emergency detachments – prison security – training at the Internal Security Forces Institute).
1993: Joining the Prime Minister’s Guard Company as a platoon commander accompanying the Prime Minister.
2004: Assistant Head of the Research and Lessons Department at the Internal Security Forces Institute.
2005: He assumed the position of Director of the Office of His Excellency the Minister of Interior and Municipalities.
2008: He assumed the position of Head of the Beirut Information Branch in the Information Division.
2009: He assumed the position of commander of the Prime Minister’s Guard Company during the era of Prime Minister Saad Rafik Hariri.
2012: He assumed the position of Head of the Special Criminal Investigation Department in the Judicial Police Unit.
2012: He assumed the position of Head of the Information Division.
He participated in many courses and conferences in Lebanon and abroad in various fields, through which he obtained several certificates, the most prominent of which are in the field of counter-espionage – confronting and combating terrorist crimes – security and protection of important figures – crisis management to mitigate the effects of terrorist activities – combating cyber crimes… etc.
Fluent in French and English.
