The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: As part of the continuous efforts undertaken by the Internal Security Forces to combat various types of crimes across all Lebanese regions, particularly armed robbery operations, information became available to the Information Branch regarding an unidentified individual carrying out armed robberies in several areas of Beirut, during some of which he stabbed his victims. Accordingly, orders were given to the competent units to carry out the necessary field and intelligence measures to identify and arrest him. As a result of investigations and inquiries, the Branch was able to determine his identity as: H.H. (born in 2000, Lebanese), He has a prior criminal record involving robbery and is wanted under judicial warrants for crimes including robbery, drug-related offenses, stabbing, possession of weapons, involvement in disputes, and opening fire, including randomly discharging firearms on 17-04-2026, following the entry into force of the “ceasefire” during the recent war on Lebanon. On 21-04-2026, after a surveillance and monitoring operation, a patrol from the Branch managed to arrest him in the Bir Hassan area. During interrogation, he confessed to the charges against him. Legal proceedings were carried out against him, and he was referred to the competent authority based on the direction of the relevant judiciary.

Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement: On 27-03-2026, a citizen filed a complaint with the Hadath police station of the Regional Gendarmerie against an unknown person for theft from inside his home. The stolen items included hunting rifles, gold jewelry, and various personal belongings. Following intensive follow-up and investigations carried out by the said station, suspicion fell on one of the complainant’s neighbors. He was summoned, on the same date, to the station. He is: J.F. (born in 1960, Lebanese) It was found that he has a prior criminal record. During interrogation, he confessed to committing the theft by sneaking into the complainant’s home and forcing the door open, stealing hunting rifles, gold jewelry, valuable watches, and other belongings. He also guided the officers to the location where the stolen items had been hidden. These were seized and returned to their owner. The suspect was handed over to the Baabda Judicial Detachment of the Judicial Police for further investigation, based on the instructions of the competent judiciary.

(born in 1982, Palestinian) reported that while he was in the Sahel Alma area, he had a leather bag containing approximately $110,000 USD and a gold ounce. He placed it on the roof of his car and left the area without noticing it. Upon returning to check, he did not find it where he had left it. Immediately, orders were given to the competent units of the Internal Security Forces to carry out the necessary field and investigative measures to uncover the circumstances of the incident. Follow-up inquiries revealed that the bag had fallen off the car in the Harat Sakhr area, and that an unknown individual riding a motorcycle found it and took it. As a result of investigations and inquiries, the Information Branch identified the perpetrator, who is a driver working for a delivery company, named: M.A. (born in 2005, Lebanese) On 30-04-2026, after careful surveillance and monitoring, a patrol from the branch managed to arrest him in the Deir Ammar area. A search of his residence in the same area led to the seizure of $108,000 USD and one gold ounce. During interrogation, he admitted that he found the bag lying on the road, opened it, and discovered a large sum of money in US dollars along with identification documents belonging to its owner. He then kept it and took it to his home. The necessary legal measures were taken against him, and the money and the gold ounce were returned to the claimant, based on the instructions of the competent judiciary.

(born in 2007, Syrian) was admitted to Bekaa Hospital in critical condition after sustaining a stab wound to the back and various bruises across his body, as a result of a spontaneous altercation between him and another individual in the Sahl – Qab Elias area. Immediately, a patrol from the Bekaa Investigation Unit of the Regional Gendarmerie proceeded to the scene. Following investigations and inquiries, the full identity of the suspect was determined, and he was arrested. He is: A.A.M. (born in 1999, Syrian) A knife used in the crime was seized in his possession. During interrogation, he confessed to the charges against him and also admitted to having committed similar acts in several other Lebanese regions. The detainee and the seized item were handed over to the competent unit to proceed with legal measures against him, based on the instructions of the relevant judiciary. 2- Additionally, a patrol from the same unit arrested in Dahr El-Baidar, in flagrante delicto, the following individuals: H.H. (born in 2003, Lebanese) S.H. (born in 2004, Lebanese) M.H. (born in 1989, Lebanese) They were caught while digging and excavating in search of gold. In their possession were a device used for gold detection, a shovel, and three mobile phones. They were handed over to the competent unit to take the necessary legal actions against them, in accordance with the instructions of the relevant judiciary. 3- In the Hoshmesh – Riyaq area, a patrol from the unit arrested two individuals in a Rapid Kangoo vehicle without license plates, for possessing quantities of cocaine and marijuana. (born in 1962, Syrian-German), and stole copper piping intended for air conditioners, as well as electrical cables and wires. As a result, orders were given to identify and arrest the perpetrators. Following investigations and inquiries, the specialized units of the Information Branch identified them as: N.D. (born in 1977, Syrian) M.A. (born in 2004, Lebanese) A.Y. (born in 2006, Lebanese)Y.S. (born in 2007, Lebanese) On 27-04-2026, after surveillance and monitoring, patrols from the branch carried out a specialized and simultaneous operation, during which: A.Y. was arrested in the town of Debbieh – Chouf on a motorcycle. M.A. was arrested in Jamhour. In Damour, Y.S. was arrested on a motorcycle, and N.D. was arrested in a gold-colored Kia vehicle. The car, the two motorcycles, three mobile phones, and sums of money were seized. During interrogation, A.Y., M.A., and Y.S. confessed to carrying out the theft by breaking and entering in Msharref in several stages, using the two motorcycles and the car rented by A.Y. from N.D., who also admitted to this. They further confessed to planning several theft operations targeting houses in the Khaldeh area and its surroundings. As a result, orders were given to the competent units of the Information Branch to carry out field and intelligence procedures to identify and arrest the perpetrator. Following investigations and inquiries, the branch was able within hours to identify him as: A.Z. (born in 1995, Palestinian) After surveillance and monitoring, a patrol from the branch arrested him on the same date in the aforementioned area. During interrogation, he confessed to the charges, stating that on 19/04/2026 he had entered the house in Wadi al-Zayneh and stolen gold jewelry and cash. He added that he hid the stolen items in a BMW car belonging to his ex-wife, T.M. (born in 2003, Palestinian). He also stated that he sold part of the stolen gold at jewelry shops in Sidon and spent the money on personal matters. Accordingly, on the same date, a patrol from the branch arrested T.M. in Sidon and seized the vehicle. Upon searching her and the car, a quantity of gold jewelry was found. During interrogation, she confessed to what was attributed to her. Legal measures were taken against both of them, and they, along with the seized items, were referred to the competent authority based on the instructions of the relevant judiciary.

The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: The Municipality of Beirut will carry out maintenance works on the roadway and sidewalks in the Gemmayzeh area, along the stretch extending from the Georges Haddad intersection (Chez Paul restaurant) to Saint Anthony Church. The works will commence on 01/05/2026 and will last for a period of 15 days. Accordingly, traffic will be closed in the area and diverted from Georges Haddad Street toward the Kataeb House (downhill direction), and from Borj El-Ghazal intersection (uphill direction). The General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: On 28/04/2026, information was obtained by the Beit El-Dine Judicial Detachment of the Judicial Police Unit regarding an unidentified individual who carried out a fraud and embezzlement operation through financial transfers from an office of a company specialized in money transfers in the Ghreifeh area. As a result of intensive investigations, inquiries, and cross-checking of information, the suspect’s means of transportation was identified. It was found that he had moved from the Wadi El-Zeineh area toward Syrian territory in preparation for fleeing outside Lebanon. Following surveillance and tracking by one of the unit’s patrols on the same date, his location was identified and he was arrested. He is identified as: H. N. (born in 1998, Syrian) Upon searching him, electrical tools were found in his possession, which he had stolen from a residence in the Ghreifeh area. It was also established that, prior to his arrest, he had transferred the money obtained through the fraud to his brother in Syria. During interrogation, he confessed to the charges against him, including fraud and the theft of electrical equipment. The necessary legal measures were taken against the detainee, who was referred to the competent authority, and the stolen items were returned to their rightful owners. Following surveillance and monitoring operations, a well-coordinated ambush was carried out in the aforementioned area, resulting in the arrest of: A.H. (born in 1995, Lebanese)S.A. (born in 2003, Lebanese) A search of the suspects led to the seizure of a black bag containing a large quantity of substances prepared for distribution, including: 511 sachets of “Salvia” 60 vials containing a white narcotic substance In the same context, and based on precise intelligence obtained by the same unit regarding the activities of an individual involved in drug distribution in the Sami Solh area: On 07/04/2026, following careful surveillance and monitoring, a patrol from the unit arrested the suspect in the aforementioned area while riding a motorcycle without a registration plate. He was identified as: M.K. (born in 2004, Syrian) A search of the suspect and the motorcycle resulted in the seizure of narcotics divided and prepared for distribution, including: 80 Captagon pills (divided into four bags and ready for distribution) Two nylon bags containing cannabis (hashish) The detainees and the seized items were handed over to the competent authorities for the necessary legal proceedings, in accordance with the instructions of the competent judicial authority.
