R. (born in 1996, Lebanese), wanted pursuant to two arrest warrants and a judgment summary for the crimes of forming an armed gang and weapons-related offenses. B. A. (born in 1981, Lebanese), wanted pursuant to an arrest warrant for theft. A. B. (born in 1993, Lebanese), wanted pursuant to an arrest warrant and a judgment summary for the crimes of attempted murder and transporting military weapons and ammunition. The detainees, along with the seized items, were handed over to the concerned units for the necessary legal measures to be taken against them, based on the instructions of the competent judiciary.

Issued by the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following was issued: On 25-06-2026, a symbolic ceremony was held at the Special Group building in Wouarwar, during which a hall bearing the name of First Adjutant Martyr Elias Tawq was inaugurated. He was martyred on 28-06-2025 while raiding the house of a wanted person on Al-Maatein Street – Tripoli. The First Assistant to the Commander of the Judicial Police Unit, Brigadier General Kamal Baalbaki, represented the Director General of the Internal Security Forces, Major General Raed Abdullah, at the ceremony, in the presence of the martyr’s family and with the participation of a number of concerned officers. The ceremony began with the Lebanese national anthem, followed by the laying of a wreath at the martyrs’ monument to the music of the Internal Security Forces band. The martyr’s hall was then inaugurated as a gesture of loyalty and appreciation for his sacrifices, and as an affirmation that the memory of the martyrs remains present in the conscience of the institution and in the memory of their comrades. Brigadier General Baalbaki delivered Major General Abdullah’s speech, in which he noted that naming the hall after First Adjutant Martyr Elias Tawq comes as a tribute to his memory and in loyalty to his sacrifices in the service of the nation. He stressed that the martyr embodied the highest meanings of courage and dedication, and that the sacrifices of the martyrs will remain present in the conscience of the institution and in the memory of their comrades, serving as an incentive to continue performing duty with loyalty and steadfastness. The Commander of the Special Group, Lieutenant Colonel Amir Keyrouz, also delivered a speech in which he emphasized that the gathering comes in loyalty to a martyr who fulfilled his duty until the end, placing the safety of others before his own life. He stressed that his name will remain present in the history and memory of this unit, and that his sacrifices will remain a trust borne by his comrades.

Issued by the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement was issued: As part of the ongoing efforts carried out by the Internal Security Forces to reduce crime and arrest perpetrators across all Lebanese territories, on 24-06-2026, the bicycle patrol affiliated with the Mina El-Hosn and Ras Beirut police stations of the Beirut Police Unit managed to arrest a person in the act, while he was breaking the handlebar of a motorcycle in the Corniche Al-Bahri – Manara area in an attempt to steal it. He is identified as: A. K. (born in 2001, Lebanese national) It was found that he has a criminal record and is wanted by the judiciary under several judicial warrants for theft and snatching crimes. The motorcycle was handed back to its owner, and the necessary legal measures were taken against the detainee, based on the instructions of the competent judiciary.

Issued by the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement was issued: Within the framework of pursuing and arresting wanted persons across all Lebanese territories, and based on information received from the Operations Room of the Regional Gendarmerie Command, members of the Dahr El-Baidar checkpoint, supported by a patrol from the Bekaa Investigation Detachment, arrested the wanted person: A. M. (born in 1992, Lebanese) He was on board a Chevrolet vehicle and presented an identity card that turned out to belong to his brother. It was also found that he is subject to nine judicial warrants for the following crimes: attempted murder, forming a gang, theft, drug-related offenses, shooting, resisting law enforcement officers, violation of the sanctity of a home, and others. He also admitted to using drugs. The detainee was handed over to the concerned unit for the necessary legal measures to be taken against him, based on the instructions of the competent judiciary.

Issued by the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement was issued: As part of the ongoing efforts carried out by the Internal Security Forces to combat crimes across various Lebanese regions, information was obtained by the Information Branch regarding four individuals carrying out robbery operations in the Al-Tal Square area – Tripoli, in addition to promoting and using drugs. As a result of the inquiries, field measures, and intelligence operations carried out by patrols from the aforementioned Branch, the identities of the suspects were determined, and they were arrested in the act in the same area while using and promoting drugs. They are: – A. N. (born in 2004, Syrian national) – A. B. (born in 2002, Syrian national), wanted by the judiciary for attempted murder, theft, and shooting. – A. H. (born in 1995, stateless), wanted by the judiciary for a weapons-related offense. – A. Gh. (born in 2008, Syrian national), a minor. Upon searching them, the following items were seized: a booklet of rolling papers, a quantity of hashish, an envelope containing 257 Captagon pills, various narcotic pills, and three mobile phones. During the investigation, and in the presence of a representative from the Juvenile Protection Association for the purpose of taking the minor’s statement, they admitted to using drugs but denied promoting them. Meanwhile, A. N. admitted that A. B. was the one supplying them with drugs and selling them to them. The necessary legal measures were taken against them, and they were referred, along with the seized items, to the competent authority, based on the instructions of the competent judiciary.

Issued by the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement was issued: On 16-03-2026, in the Chiyah locality, two unidentified persons on board an SUV ran over M. F. (born in 1974, Lebanese) and his brother M. F. (born in 1982), and opened fire at them. As a result, the first died of his wounds, while the second was taken to hospital for treatment. A third person was also injured and taken to hospital, where he later passed away. The perpetrators then fled to an unknown destination. Immediately, orders were given to the specialized units of the Information Branch to carry out the necessary field and intelligence measures in order to uncover the circumstances of the horrific murder and arrest the two perpetrators. As a result of investigations, inquiries, and the hearing of witness statements, the Branch was able to identify the two suspects, including: J. H. (born in 1982, Lebanese), who has a criminal record for kidnapping and deprivation of liberty. He is considered a dangerous individual and is continuously armed. On 11-06-2026, following a precise surveillance and monitoring operation, one of the Branch’s patrols managed to arrest him in the Aley locality on board a vehicle that was seized. Upon searching him and the vehicle, a military pistol with a magazine and 15 live rounds were seized. The necessary legal measures were taken against him, and he was referred, along with the seized items, to the competent authority, based on the instructions of the competent judiciary. Work is still ongoing to arrest the second person involved.

Issued by the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following was issued: 1- On 28-06-2026, a sports activity consisting of a running race titled “The Titans Race” will be organized in the Dbayeh area, starting from the Waterfront – coastal road, passing by the Fouhoud Bridge, then turning in front of Golden Beach via the road adjacent to the highway, then turning toward the coastal road up to Mike Sport, and returning from there toward the Waterfront – coastal road, starting at 6:00 a.m. until its completion. Therefore, traffic will be prohibited on the aforementioned route throughout the duration of the activity. The Lebanese Cycling Federation will organize the “2026 Time Trial Race” between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, 28-06-2026. Accordingly, the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces will take the following traffic measures: Traffic will be prohibited from the Karantina Bridge junction toward the Fish Market. All roads leading to the race route will be closed, namely: Port Gate No. 14 – Fish Market, Balkian junction, and Yahya Tobacco junction. The road leading from Forum de Beyrouth Square toward Emile Lahoud Avenue will be closed. Vehicles will be prevented from passing from Pierre Gemayel Avenue toward Emile Lahoud Highway, at the locations of the Ministry of Energy and Debbas Company. Vehicles will be prevented from passing from Karantina Bridge toward Emile Lahoud Avenue. Roads will be closed and traffic will be diverted from the race route as the participants pass, and will be reopened after they have passed. Issued by the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement was issued: As part of the ongoing efforts carried out by the Internal Security Forces to combat crimes of all kinds, particularly drug trafficking offenses, information was obtained by the Mount Lebanon Investigation Detachment of the Regional Gendarmerie Unit regarding two individuals promoting narcotic substances on board a “Landy” motorcycle in the locality of Bouar. Immediately, members of the detachment began their inquiries and investigations. As a result of precise surveillance and monitoring operations, their whereabouts were identified. On 16-06-2026, a patrol from the detachment managed to arrest, in the locality of Bouar, the following individuals: A. F. (born in 1998, Lebanese) Ch. N. (born in 1994, Lebanese) They were arrested while on board an unregistered black “Landy” motorcycle. Upon searching them, the following items were seized in their possession: A military pistol with two magazines and 10 rounds A quantity of hashish A quantity of Salvia wrapped in compressed nylon packaging 47 Captagon pills 3 containers holding a white substance Narcotic pills and a transparent-colored substance Rolling papers A razor blade A sum of money and a mobile phone. Issued by the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement was issued: Based on the instructions of the competent judicial authority, the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces circulates the photo of the detainee: – T. H. (born in 1999, Lebanese) As a result of the investigation conducted with him by the Jdeideh Judicial Detachment of the Judicial Police Unit, it was revealed that he had carried out fraud and scam operations targeting a number of delivery workers in various areas of Mount Lebanon Governorate. In his fraudulent operations, the detainee used to contact delivery workers and ask them to transport items to fictitious persons, after providing them with two phone numbers belonging to him and used for this purpose. He would convince the delivery worker to hand him sums of money under the pretext that the party receiving the items would return the money upon delivery, claiming that this would spare him the trouble of traveling. After receiving the money, he would switch off his phone, block the delivery worker’s number, and disappear. During the investigation, he confessed to carrying out several similar operations in the areas of Jdeideh, Dbayeh, and Dekwaneh. Therefore, this Directorate General requests those who have fallen victim to his actions and recognized him to come to the Jdeideh Judicial Detachment, or to contact the following number: 01-901203, in order to take the necessary legal measures.

As a result of the follow-up and precise surveillance operations, a patrol from the said detachment managed, on 26-06-2026, in the locality of Bourj El-Barajneh – Airport Road, to arrest the following individuals: Gh. As a result of investigations and inquiries, the Branch’s members were able to identify him as: N. A. (born in 1968, Lebanese) Following a precise surveillance and monitoring operation, one of the Branch’s patrols managed to arrest him in the locality of Chamlane – Aley. Upon searching him and his place of residence, the following items were seized: 10 plastic containers containing cocaine, 8 of which weighed 1 gram each 3 bags containing hashish, weighing approximately 53 grams A bag containing two white pieces suspected to be cocaine base 16 empty plastic containers and 3 empty plastic lids A pump-action shotgun with a magazine and five live rounds Two rolling paper booklets, a long dagger, a mobile phone, and a sum of money. During the investigation, he confessed to the charges brought against him.
