H. (born in 1999, Lebanese) As a result of the investigation conducted with him by the Jdeideh Judicial Detachment of the Judicial Police Unit, it was revealed that he had carried out fraud and scam operations targeting a number of delivery workers in various areas of Mount Lebanon Governorate. In his fraudulent operations, the detainee used to contact delivery workers and ask them to transport items to fictitious persons, after providing them with two phone numbers belonging to him and used for this purpose. He would convince the delivery worker to hand him sums of money under the pretext that the party receiving the items would return the money upon delivery, claiming that this would spare him the trouble of traveling. After receiving the money, he would switch off his phone, block the delivery worker’s number, and disappear. During the investigation, he confessed to carrying out several similar operations in the areas of Jdeideh, Dbayeh, and Dekwaneh. Therefore, this Directorate General requests those who have fallen victim to his actions and recognized him to come to the Jdeideh Judicial Detachment, or to contact the following number: 01-901203, in order to take the necessary legal measures.

Issued by the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement was issued: As part of the continuous follow-up carried out by the Internal Security Forces units to combat drug trafficking and promotion, and based on information obtained by the Mount Lebanon Investigation Detachment of the Regional Gendarmerie Unit regarding individuals involved in promoting narcotic substances, the aforementioned detachment immediately began its field and intelligence measures to identify and arrest them. As a result of the follow-up and precise surveillance operations, a patrol from the said detachment managed, on 26-06-2026, in the locality of Bourj El-Barajneh – Airport Road, to arrest the following individuals: Gh. A. (born in 1990, Syrian national) A. H. (born in 1998, Syrian national) A. S. (born in 1994, Syrian national) A quantity of narcotic substances was seized in their possession, namely: 311 Captagon pills, in addition to other narcotic pills A quantity of hashish 28 plastic containers containing a white narcotic substance 4 bags of marijuana Empty transparent bags used for packaging A machine used to grind marijuana Mobile phones, sums of money, and a motorcycle. Issued by the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement was issued: As part of the continuous efforts carried out by the Internal Security Forces to combat drug trafficking and promotion across various Lebanese regions, information was obtained by the Information Branch about an unidentified person promoting narcotic substances in areas of Mount Lebanon. Accordingly, orders were given to the specialized units of the Branch to carry out the necessary field and intelligence measures in order to identify and arrest the aforementioned drug dealer. As a result of investigations and inquiries, the Branch’s members were able to identify him as: N. A. (born in 1968, Lebanese) Following a precise surveillance and monitoring operation, one of the Branch’s patrols managed to arrest him in the locality of Chamlane – Aley. Upon searching him and his place of residence, the following items were seized: 10 plastic containers containing cocaine, 8 of which weighed 1 gram each 3 bags containing hashish, weighing approximately 53 grams A bag containing two white pieces suspected to be cocaine base 16 empty plastic containers and 3 empty plastic lids A pump-action shotgun with a magazine and five live rounds Two rolling paper booklets, a long dagger, a mobile phone, and a sum of money. Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement: On 23-06-2026, while members of the Jdeideh Traffic Detachment of the Regional Gendarmerie Unit were carrying out a mission to detect traffic violations in Zalka, an unidentified person driving a BMW with tinted windows obstructing visibility attempted to run over one of the officers while they were trying to stop him. He then collided with the military motorcycle and hit several civilian vehicles, prompting one of the officers to fire several shots into the air in an attempt to stop the vehicle. However, the driver fled to an unknown destination. Videos of the incident were circulated on social media, causing public outrage. Immediately, orders were given to identify and arrest the driver. As a result of the follow-up, and on the same date, members of the Information Branch were able to seize the vehicle in Antelias and identify the perpetrator as: A. T. (born in 2002, Palestinian) Following surveillance and monitoring, it was found that the suspect had left his place of residence and gone into hiding after the incident, fleeing to an unknown destination. On 24-06-2026, the Branch’s Special Group was able to locate his hideout in Kfardebian, where they set up an ambush and arrested him. During the investigation, he confessed to the charges against him, namely attempting to run over an ISF member and fleeing from the patrol, as he knew that he was violating the law and that the vehicle’s status was illegal. The necessary legal measures were taken against him, and he was referred, along with the vehicle, to the competent authority, pursuant to the order of the competent judiciary.

Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement: On 03-06-2026, in the locality of Zouk Mikael, two unidentified persons stole a black Kia Picanto belonging to a citizen. It was later found in the same locality after it had been disabled by the GPS protection system. Immediately, orders were given to the competent ISF units to carry out field and intelligence measures in order to identify and arrest the two suspects. As a result of investigations and inquiries, members of the Information Branch were able to identify one of them as: F. T. (born in 1990, Lebanese) He has a criminal record and had previously been arrested for car theft. After a precise surveillance and monitoring operation, one of the Branch’s patrols arrested him in the locality of Maameltein. During the investigation, he confessed to the charges against him, namely that he, in coordination with another person, stole the aforementioned car from Zouk Mikael after breaking its window. However, the car broke down after he left the area, and after repeatedly trying to start it without success, he abandoned it and fled with his accomplice. The necessary legal measures were taken against him, and he was referred to the competent authority pursuant to the order of the competent judiciary. Efforts are ongoing to arrest his accomplice.

Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement: As part of the efforts carried out by the Internal Security Forces to promote the concept of community policing, strengthen cooperation with local authorities, and develop preventive security work in a way that positively reflects on citizens’ security and safety, a workshop on organizing cooperation between the Internal Security Forces and municipal police was inaugurated on 23-6-2026 at the building of the Jbeil Municipalities Union. The workshop aims to enhance the preservation of security and order, regulate traffic, and activate field coordination between the Internal Security Forces and municipalities, in a manner that contributes to addressing daily issues within the municipal scope and improving the level of response in the service of citizens. The workshop was attended by a number of Internal Security Forces officers, mayors, and municipal police commissioners from the towns of Barbara, Monsef, Hosrayel, Jeddayel, Amchit, Jbeil, Nahr Ibrahim, Halat, Blat, and Fidar, in coordination with “Siren Associates”. On the occasion, the Commander of the Mount Lebanon Region in the Regional Gendarmerie Unit, Brigadier General Abdo Khalil, representing the Director General of the Internal Security Forces, Major General Raed Abdallah, delivered a speech in which he stressed the importance of consolidating the concept of community policing by strengthening cooperation between the Internal Security Forces, municipalities, and citizens, in a way that activates preventive and proactive security and contributes to addressing causes before violations or crimes occur. He also emphasized the need to maintain field coordination through operations rooms and information exchange, particularly with regard to traffic regulation, the accompaniment of public events, night patrols, and reporting any suspicious movements within the municipal scope. For his part, the Vice President of the Jbeil Municipalities Union and Mayor of Mayfouq Al-Qattara, Dr. Bachir Elias, delivered a speech in which he welcomed the attendees and praised the importance of the existing cooperation between municipalities and the Internal Security Forces, particularly in addressing daily issues that affect citizens’ security and safety, regulating traffic, reducing violations, and enhancing the sense of safety within the municipal scope. Therefore, starting at 1:30 a.m. on Friday and until completion, the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces will implement the following traffic measures: First: Closure of Imad Mughniyeh Avenue in both directions, from Sayyad Roundabout to the east and from the old airport road to the west, in addition to the main and secondary roads leading to it. Closure of the old airport road from Shatila Roundabout to the Cocody Bridge, in addition to the main and secondary roads leading to the bridge. Second: Citizens coming from Beirut and wishing to reach Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport are requested to take the following routes: From Cola Roundabout, via Ziad Rahbani Highway, to the airport access road. From UNESCO Roundabout – Marriott, via the Ouzai main road, Bourj junction, Nafaa Bridge, toward Al Ahed Stadium, to the airport. He was homeless and had recently been frequenting the aforementioned area. His body is currently being kept in the morgue of Sidon Governmental Hospital. Description of the body: a man in his eighties, approximately 170 cm tall, of medium build, dark complexion, with short white hair and a long white beard. Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement: As part of the ongoing efforts carried out by the Internal Security Forces to combat drug trafficking and limit its spread, information was obtained by the Mount Lebanon Investigation Detachment of the Regional Gendarmerie Unit about an individual promoting narcotics on a motorcycle in the locality of Zouk Mosbeh. Accordingly, the detachment’s personnel intensified their investigations and inquiries. After precise surveillance and monitoring, they were able to determine the suspect’s whereabouts. As a result, one of the detachment’s patrols set up a well-planned ambush in Zouk Mosbeh, which led to the arrest of: D. A. (born in 1996, Syrian) He was arrested while riding an unregistered “Orox” motorcycle. Upon searching him and the motorcycle, a quantity of narcotics was found in his possession. During questioning, he stated that additional quantities were kept inside his residence located in Zouk Mosbeh – Adonis. Immediately, a patrol from the detachment headed to his residence, where a search was conducted and additional quantities of narcotics were seized inside the place where he was staying. The operation resulted in the seizure of: /20/ wrapped plastic containers containing crystal meth /20/ nylon packets containing a white substance /5/ nylon bags containing hashish /43/ morphine pills A sum of money and a mobile phone The detainee, along with the motorcycle and the seized items, was handed over to the competent station for the necessary legal measures, pursuant to the order of the competent judiciary.

Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement: As part of the campaign carried out by the Internal Security Forces to protect public safety, and to combat violations and abuses that pose a danger to citizens, and pursuant to the decision of the Minister of Interior and Municipalities, Ahmad Al Hajjar, concerning the “enhancement of measures to crack down on motorcycle violations in Beirut,” the Beirut Traffic Company of the Beirut Police Unit carried out a campaign to detect and suppress violations within the jurisdiction of its traffic detachments. The temporary and fixed checkpoints set up by the traffic detachments resulted in the impoundment of /265/ motorcycles and /65/ violating vehicles, as well as the issuance of /1225/ violation reports. The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces confirms that it will continue to strictly crack down on these violations in order to preserve public safety, and calls on citizens to abide by the applicable laws and regulations.

As part of the follow-up on prison conditions and the review of inmates’ needs and the general conditions inside prisons, and in coordination between the Internal Security Forces and the General Chaplaincy of Prisons in Lebanon, the First President of the North Lebanon Courts, Judge Nidal Shamseddine, inspected Tripoli Prison for men and women on 23-06-2026. She was received by the Commander of the Tripoli Regional Company, Brigadier General Bahaa El Samad, the Second Assistant to the Commander of the North Lebanon Region, Colonel Ibrahim Al Rashed, and the prison warden, Lieutenant Colonel Abdel Latif Shaar, along with a number of concerned officers, the General Chaplain of Prisons in Lebanon, Father Jean Moura, and members of the General Chaplaincy of Prisons. The visit was attended by the Appellate Public Prosecutor in North Lebanon, Judge Hani Helmi Al Hajjar; the First Investigating Judge, Judge Naji Al Dahdah; the Judge of the Judicial District, Judge Nazem El Khoury; Judge Lara Kozak; and Judge Ahmad Taki El Din. The delegation also included the Acting Governor of North Lebanon, Iman Al Rafei; the District Governor of Bcharre, Ruba Chafchak; the representative of the Mufti of Tripoli, Sheikh Safwan Al Shaar; the representative of the President of the Alawite Islamic Council, Sheikh Mohammad Abdel Karim; the President of the Orthodox Association for the Care of Prisoners, Father Basilius Debs; the Secretary of the Prison Communication Committee, attorney Bernadette Dib; and attorneys Youssef Douaihy, May Haddad, Elie Bitar, and Badawi El Sabeh Douaihy. Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement: As part of the ongoing efforts carried out by the Internal Security Forces to combat all types of crimes, particularly forgery crimes across various Lebanese regions, and to arrest their perpetrators, information was obtained by the Information Branch about an unidentified person forging real estate documents with the aim of selling a property in the locality of Halat – Jbeil. As a result of investigations and inquiries, the person who was processing the property ownership transfer request at the real estate departments was arrested, and the forged document was seized in his possession. He was identified as: Sh. H. (born in 1987, Lebanese) During the investigation, he stated that he had fallen victim to fraud by the individual identified as: J. Gh. (born in 1982, Lebanese), who has a criminal record for forgery offenses. Further follow-up revealed that the property deed had also been forged through the use of a fake identity in the name of the property owner, and that the ownership had first been transferred to J. Gh., and then to Sh. H., noting that the property owner had not sold the property. After a precise surveillance and monitoring operation, one of the Branch’s patrols arrested J. Gh. in Jbeil while he was in his vehicle, which was seized. Upon searching him and the vehicle, a sum of money was found in his possession. During the investigation, he confessed to the charges against him, namely that he, in coordination with another person with a criminal record for forgery and fraud offenses, had forged the identity of the property owner and the title deed without her knowledge, and then sold the property to Sh. H. When the latter attempted to register the property at the real estate departments, it was revealed that the deed was invalid. The necessary legal measures were taken against J. Gh., and he was referred, along with the seized items, to the competent authority, pursuant to the order of the competent judiciary. Efforts are ongoing to arrest his accomplice.
