Description of the body: A man in his fifties, approximately 170 cm tall, slim build, fair-skinned, black hair, full beard. He was wearing a black coat and gray jeans. Therefore, and based on the instructions of the competent judiciary, the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces requests that his relatives, or anyone who has information about him, contact the Hadath Police Station of the Regional Gendarmerie Unit at 05-466553 in order to take the necessary legal measures prior to receiving the body.

Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division, the following statement: As part of the daily follow-up carried out by the Internal Security Forces to combat theft operations across various Lebanese regions—particularly thefts from inside vehicles parked along roads—information was obtained by the Information Branch regarding an unidentified individual riding a motorcycle who, on 02/02/2026, stole a military pistol from inside a car parked in a public parking lot in the Jall El Dib area. Following this, the competent units initiated field and investigative procedures to identify and arrest the perpetrator. As a result of investigations and inquiries, and within a short period of time, his identity was determined. He is an employee at a security company, identified as: M. Sh. (born in 2001, Lebanese) Through a precise surveillance and monitoring operation, and in less than one hour, a patrol from the branch succeeded in arresting him in the Jall El Dib area. Upon searching him, the stolen pistol was seized along with a magazine containing 14 rounds, a Turkish-made pistol with an empty magazine, and a mobile phone. During interrogation, he confessed to committing the theft of the pistol from inside the vehicle. The necessary legal measures were taken against him, and he was referred, along with the seized items, to the competent authority based on the instructions of the competent judiciary.

Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division, the following statement: On various dates, several complaints were received by the operational units of the Internal Security Forces from individuals who reported attempts to circulate counterfeit currency, causing concern among shop owners and commercial establishments in the Bint Jbeil area and its surroundings. Immediately, the South Investigation Unit of the Regional Gendarmerie Unit initiated investigative measures and necessary inquiries to identify the suspect and work toward his arrest. Following surveillance and monitoring, his identity was uncovered, and it was found that he was wanted by the judiciary under several arrest warrants. On 13/02/2026, after carrying out a well-planned ambush in the city of Bint Jbeil, a patrol from the unit arrested: A. S. (born in 1977, Lebanese) He was driving a silver Kia vehicle bearing forged license plates. In his possession were identification papers, documents, and cash, all counterfeit. During interrogation by the Bint Jbeil police station, he confessed to the charges against him, in addition to committing similar acts in several other Lebanese regions. He was handed over to the Financial Crimes and Money Laundering Bureau of the Judicial Police Unit for further investigation and legal proceedings, based on the instructions of the competent judiciary.

Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division, the following statement: On 08/02/2026, an unknown individual broke into two apartments in the same building in the Aaramoun area. From the first apartment, he stole USD 10,000, copper cables, an air conditioner, sanitary equipment, two gas cylinders, mixers, and wristwatches, estimated at approximately USD 2,000. From the second apartment, he stole USD 5,000, then fled to an unknown destination. Immediately, the specialized units of the Information Branch initiated field and investigative procedures to identify and arrest the perpetrator. As a result of investigations and inquiries, the branch was able, within hours, to identify him as: A. H. B. (born in 1984, Syrian) On the same date, following a precise surveillance and monitoring operation, and in less than 24 hours, one of the Information Branch patrols arrested him in the Aaramoun area. A sum of money, personal documents, and a mobile phone were seized in his possession. The necessary legal measures were taken against him, and he was handed over, along with the seized items, to the competent unit based on the instructions of the judiciary.

Issued by the General Directorate of Internal Security – Public Relations Division The following statement: As part of the daily monitoring conducted by the Internal Security Forces to combat burglaries across various Lebanese regions, and following the increase in home burglaries in Tayouneh, Hazmieh, Baabda, and Achrafieh—committed through climbing, breaking, and forced entry—it was determined, based on the investigations and intelligence of specialized units, that all the burglaries were carried out by the same individual using a motorcycle. Through surveillance and investigative operations, the Information Division identified the individual: • M. Y. (born in 1974, Lebanese) It was found that he resides permanently in the Bourj el-Barajneh area and only leaves to commit burglaries. On 6/2/2026, following a precise monitoring operation, a division patrol was able to arrest him in a well-planned ambush in Bourj el-Barajneh, with the motorcycle which was seized. Upon searching him and the motorcycle, a handgun with a magazine and 5 live rounds were found. During interrogation, he confessed to committing dozens of burglaries inside and in front of homes in Beirut and Mount Lebanon, including Ras el-Nabeh, Mounaw, Achrafieh, Mansourieh, Hazmieh, Tayouneh, Riyad el-Solh, and Baabda. He entered homes via balconies or by forced entry to steal money and jewelry. He also admitted to selling the stolen items in Sabra Camp, purchasing the firearm with the stolen money, and using drugs. The necessary legal procedures were carried out against him, and he was placed, along with the seized items, at the disposal of the competent authority in accordance with the judicial instruction.

The following statement was issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division: As part of the ongoing efforts undertaken by the Internal Security Forces to curb crime across various Lebanese regions and arrest perpetrators, particularly those involved in theft, robbery, and pickpocketing, information was received by the Mount Lebanon Investigation Unit within the Regional Gendarmerie Unit regarding the presence of two individuals in the area of Hayy Al-Sellom suspected of committing robbery operations while riding a motorcycle in the said area. Following monitoring and surveillance, a unit force arrested them while they were riding a motorcycle. They were identified as: -M.D. (born in 2008, Lebanese according to his statement) -M.S. (born in 2007, Syrian according to his statement) Upon searching them, a military pistol with its magazine containing six live rounds, three black face masks, and a mobile phone were seized in their possession. After checking the motorcycle they were riding, it was found to be stolen. During interrogation, they confessed to carrying out several robbery and pickpocketing operations in the areas of Airport Road and Al-Ouzai. The two detainees, the motorcycle, and the seized items were handed over to the competent unit to take the necessary legal measures against them, in accordance with the instructions of the competent judicial authority.

The following statement was issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division: As part of the ongoing efforts carried out by the competent units of the Internal Security Forces to arrest individuals wanted by the judiciary across various Lebanese regions, and as a result of investigations and inquiries conducted by the Bekaa Investigation Unit within the Regional Gendarmerie Unit, four individuals were arrested in several Bekaa villages, as follows: First:On 12-02-2026, in the town of Al-Ain, the following individual was arrested:-H.S. (born in 1988, Lebanese),who is wanted by the judiciary pursuant to judicial prosecutions for crimes of theft and fraud.A quantity of cannabis resin was also seized in his possession. Second:On 13-02-2026, in the town of Jdeideh – Baalbek, unit members arrested:-H.S. (born in 1978, Lebanese),who is wanted by the judiciary under an arrest warrant and a summary judgment for theft. Third:On 16-02-2026, during a qualitative security operation carried out by patrols of the aforementioned unit in the town of Younine – Baalbek, one of the wanted individuals was arrested:-M.Q. (born in 1966, Lebanese),who is subject to an arrest warrant for complicity in intentional homicide and weapons offenses.A military pistol was seized in his possession. Fourth:On 16-02-2026, one of the unit’s patrols arrested a wanted individual during a qualitative security operation carried out in the town of Kfarzabad – Zahle. He is:-Ch.Ch. (born in 1971, Lebanese),wanted under two arrest warrants: the first for forming a gang, theft, and armed robbery, and the second for theft. A military pistol was seized in his possession. The following statement was issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division: On 16-12-2025, in the locality of Amchit, two armed individuals forcibly entered the residence of D.S. (born in 1968, Lebanese), tied her up, and stole jewelry, a sum of money, and a mobile phone before fleeing to an unknown destination. The value of the stolen items was estimated at approximately USD 7,000. On 24-12-2025, in the locality of Jounieh, while A.Kh. (born in 1971, Lebanese) was opening his currency exchange office, two individuals knocked him to the ground and stole a bag he was carrying containing foreign currencies valued at approximately USD 200,000. The perpetrators fled on a motorcycle to an unknown destination. On 14-1-2026, in the locality of Amchit, two individuals, at gunpoint, robbed a jewelry store owned by D.K. (born in 1958, Lebanese). The stolen items included 285 grams of gold, 50 million Lebanese pounds, USD 1,000, three mobile phones, a military pistol belonging to the shop owner, as well as the surveillance cameras. The perpetrators fled in a black Range Rover SUV. The value of the stolen items was estimated at approximately USD 40,000. On 30-1-2026, R.Kh. (born in 1983, Lebanese) reported that unknown individuals had broken into his father’s residence located in Zalka – Shalloub Building and stole a safe containing 33 ounces of gold. The value of the stolen items was estimated at approximately USD 165,000. Following these incidents, the competent units of the Internal Security Forces initiated field operations and intelligence investigations to identify and arrest those involved in the aforementioned robberies. It was determined that the same gang carried out these operations. As a result of intensive inquiries and investigations, the identities of its members were identified as follows: M.Z. (born in 2003, Lebanese) M.A. (born in 1997, Lebanese) Kh.A. (born in 2000, Syrian) A.H. (born in 2000, Lebanese) M.A. (born in 1992, Lebanese) B.M. (born in 1977, Syrian) M.F. (born in 2007, Lebanese) Following close surveillance and monitoring operations conducted on 2, 3, 6, and 8-02-2026, division patrols arrested them in the areas of Sabra, Chiyah, and Qasqas. During interrogation, they confessed to committing the aforementioned robberies and to attempting to rob the money changer A.Kh. a second time, but they failed. They also stated that they had planned to carry out additional robberies in the areas of Mtayleb, Amchit, and Sodeco, and that they would divide the stolen goods among themselves. The necessary legal measures were taken against them, and they were referred to the competent judicial authority based on the prosecutor’s instructions. Efforts are ongoing to arrest other individuals involved.

Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division, the following statement: As part of the ongoing efforts carried out by the Internal Security Forces to combat various crimes and arrest their perpetrators, and following several complaints received by the Rashmaya Police Station, affiliated with the Aley Detachment in the Regional Gendarmerie Unit, regarding the theft of copper electrical cables within the town, immediate action was taken. As a result of diligent follow-up, a patrol from the aforementioned detachment raided the homes of several Syrian nationals and arrested the following individuals: J.D. (born in 1995) A.A. (born in 1996) M.A. (born in 1999) H.E. (born in 2008) During interrogation, it was established that the first and second suspects had carried out several thefts of copper electrical cables and sold them. They confessed to the acts attributed to them. All four individuals were arrested for illegal entry into the country, and the first and second were additionally charged with stealing copper cables. The necessary legal measures were taken against them, and they were referred to the competent authority based on the instructions of the relevant judiciary.

Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division, the following statement: Based on a complaint filed by citizen A.D. (born in 1989), owner of a jewelry shop on Barbour Street, against an unknown person for the theft of a gold item from his store, the Basta Police Station of the Beirut Police Unit conducted an investigation. The complainant stated that on 13-02-2026, a woman entered his shop under the pretext of purchasing a gold item and left without buying anything. After her departure, he checked his merchandise and discovered that a gold item was missing. As a result of follow-up investigations and review of surveillance camera footage, it was confirmed that the aforementioned woman had stolen a gold item from the shop. Accordingly, and based on the instructions of the competent judiciary, the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces is circulating her photograph and requests that anyone who knows her whereabouts or has any information about her contact the Basta Police Station of the Beirut Police Unit at 01-633808 in preparation for taking the necessary legal measures.
