The Directorate General of the ISF, Public Relations Department, has published the following notification:
On 11-11-2024, unknown persons have entered by effraction to one of the compagnies in the locality of Achrafieh -Beirut, and have stolen a safe that contains a sum of money.
Immediately, the specialized units in the ISF, have launched their measures in order to arrest the actors and to arrest them. And further a technical work and inquiries, the Information Department has succeeded to identify one of the involved persons, and he is named:
(M. M born on 1975, Lebanese)
And he has previous convictions for crimes of theft, robbery, threat, selling of stolen objects, appropriation of arms and munitions, and he is wanted by the authorities by virtue of 5 judicial warrants for robbery, effraction, composition of gangs and arms.
On the basis of the above, orders have been taken in order to localize him and to arrest him.
On 22-11-2024, and further a delicate following up work, a Special Force in the Information Department, has succeeded to arrest him in the locality of Sakiyet Al Janzir, on board of a black “Nissan “ Car , and this is the car used in the robbery operation. (it has been seized) . Also, it has arrested with him the named:

And he has also previous convictions for crimes of theft, fraud, resistance to police agents, privation of liberty, beating and harassment.
We have seized inside the car gloves and discs for iron cutting.
By hearing the first one, he has confessed what it was been alleged to him, and having carried out the robbery operation with the following persons:
Also, they have confessed that they have shared the stolen sum of money between them, and they have tracked the company before having execute the operation.
And by hearing the second one, (F. K ), he has confessed having moved with the first one to the locality of Achrafieh , one board of a black “Nissan “ car , with the aim of tracking and control.
On 23-11-2024, the Special Force in the a/m Department has arrested the two Syrians in the locality of Sin El Fil, and they have confessed having participated in the robbery operation.
We have taken the legal measures against them, and they have been conducted to the concerned authorities.
The Directorate General of the ISF, Public Relations Department, has published the following notification : On the basis of the continuous following up work carried out by the ISF in order to combat theft , robbery and pickpocket operations across Lebanon, information was obtained about an identified person who has robbed a bag that contains a sum of money , inside the apartment of one of the citizens in the village of Barja. Immediately, the specialized Units in the Information Department have launched their investigative and field measures to unveil the identity of the perpetrator and to arrest him. And further investigations and inquiries, the Department has succeeded to identify the criminal , and he is named : M (born on 2008, Syrian ) On 14-09-2025, and further a sensitive operation of monitoring and tracking, one of the Department’s patrol has arrested him in the a/m village on board of a red motorcycle manufactured 7 , without plate, and that was seized . Also, and by inspecting him, we have seized on his possession a sum of money and a handgun without bullets . Finally, after hearing him, he has confessed what it has been attributed to him as for his execution of a robbery operation of a bag inside in an apartment in Barja . He also added that he has bought the seized motorcycle with the robbed money , and that he was entering the buildings and houses and stolen them after being sure about their emptiness of inhabitants . We have taken the right legal measures against him, and he was been conducted with the seized objects to the concerned authorities.

The Directorate General of the ISF, Public Relations Department, has published the following notification : On the basis of the following up work carried out by the ISF in order to combat robbery operations across Lebanon, information was been obtained about an identified person who executes theft operations in the regions of Mount of Lebanon. Immediately, specialized Units in the Information Department, have launched their investigative and field measures with the aim of identify him and to arrest him. And further intensive inquiries and investigations, the Department has succeeded to identify him and to arrest him on 11-10-2025 in the area of Al Nabaa, and he is named : AA (born on 20.01, Lebanese ) It appears that it exists against him two judicial warrants for crimes of military arms and ammunition transport. Thus and by hearing him, he has confessed what it has been attributed to him as the robbery operations in many regions of Mount of Lebanon. Finally, We have taken the right legal measures against him and he has been conducted with the seized objects to the concerned authorities upon its request.

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Department has issued the following notification: As part of the ongoing efforts of the ISF to combat theft and fraud across Lebanese regions, the Information Department has received information intelligence about several citizens being victims of fraudulent thefts carried out by unidentified individuals. These suspects lure their victims by claiming to have “frozen dollars” for sale. When meeting the victims, they steal their money through deception and then escaped. Following this, orders were given to the specialized units within Department to conduct field and investigative operations to identify and arrest the perpetrators. As a result of intensive investigations, the Department succeeded in identifying them as follows: B.D. (born 1999, Lebanese) — wanted on 11 judicial warrants for armed robbery, theft, forming a kidnapping gang, fraud, possession of weapons, and shooting. M.D. (born 1994, Lebanese) — previously convicted of drug use and counterfeit currency promotion. On 30-10-2025, after close monitoring, one of the Department’s patrols managed to arrest them in an ambush in the Dahr El-Wahsh area, while they were driving a dark-blue Nissan vehicle, which was seized. A search of the suspects and the car led to the seizure of: a handgun with a magazine and 14 bullets, a USB memory stick, personal documents and papers, two chains, three rings, two “black” accessories, a necklace, a wristwatch, a sum of money, and three mobile phones. During interrogation, they confessed to carrying out the aforementioned fraudulent thefts, including one operation on 05-07-2025, during which they stole USD 3,500 from a money transfer shop in Aley. They were also preparing another fraud attempt in Dahr El-Wahsh, but their arrest prevented it. Legal measures were taken against them, and they, along with the seized items, were referred to the competent judicial authorities, under the supervision of the relevant judiciary. Warning: The ISF reminds citizens that there is no such thing as “frozen dollars” — these are purely fraudulent schemes. The Directorate warns the public not to fall victim to such scams and urges everyone to avoid being misled by false advertisements or promises of quick financial gain.

At 11:00 a.m. on October 14, 2025, a first-of-its-kind coordination meeting was held at the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces (ISF). The meeting brought together ambassadors and representatives of donor countries, as well as accredited executive directors from Australia, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Norway, the United States of America, Spain, Italy, Canada, South Korea, and the European Union. Also in attendance were representatives from the Office of the United Nations Special Coordinator for Lebanon (UNSCOL) and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), as these countries and organizations are involved in providing technical, logistical, and operational support to the ISF. The meeting was also attended by the Chief of Staff Unit and a number of senior officers. During the session Major General Raed Abdullah, Director General of the ISF, delivered a speech affirming the ISF’s commitment to fulfilling its responsibilities and carrying out its duties during this challenging and sensitive period that the country is undergoing. He stressed the ISF’s determination to do everything necessary to maintain security, promote peace and stability, and provide distinguished police services, while upholding human rights and protecting freedoms within the framework of the law. He also highlighted the ISF’s key missions, including supporting the Lebanese Army in the South Litani area and beyond, combating terrorism and drying up its sources of funding, as well as addressing transnational organized crime. He emphasized the need to focus both human and material resources on these priorities due to their negative impact on domestic social security and Lebanon’s relations with its surrounding region and international partners. Major General Abdullah also called on participants to provide technical, logistical, and operational support to enhance the ISF’s ability to effectively carry out its mandated tasks. He emphasized the importance of coordinating donation initiatives based on the ISF’s strategic vision, priorities, and essential operational needs, through the ISF’s Aid Coordination Unit, which serves as a central platform for streamlining efforts, avoiding duplication, and ensuring alignment with the institution’s strategic objectives. In conclusion, a discussion was held between the Director General and the participants, addressing the topics, plans, and ISF priorities presented during the meeting.
