The Directorate General of the ISF, Public Relations Department, has published the following notification:
On 11-11-2024, unknown persons have entered by effraction to one of the compagnies in the locality of Achrafieh -Beirut, and have stolen a safe that contains a sum of money.
Immediately, the specialized units in the ISF, have launched their measures in order to arrest the actors and to arrest them. And further a technical work and inquiries, the Information Department has succeeded to identify one of the involved persons, and he is named:
(M. M born on 1975, Lebanese)
And he has previous convictions for crimes of theft, robbery, threat, selling of stolen objects, appropriation of arms and munitions, and he is wanted by the authorities by virtue of 5 judicial warrants for robbery, effraction, composition of gangs and arms.
On the basis of the above, orders have been taken in order to localize him and to arrest him.
On 22-11-2024, and further a delicate following up work, a Special Force in the Information Department, has succeeded to arrest him in the locality of Sakiyet Al Janzir, on board of a black “Nissan “ Car , and this is the car used in the robbery operation. (it has been seized) . Also, it has arrested with him the named:

And he has also previous convictions for crimes of theft, fraud, resistance to police agents, privation of liberty, beating and harassment.
We have seized inside the car gloves and discs for iron cutting.
By hearing the first one, he has confessed what it was been alleged to him, and having carried out the robbery operation with the following persons:
Also, they have confessed that they have shared the stolen sum of money between them, and they have tracked the company before having execute the operation.
And by hearing the second one, (F. K ), he has confessed having moved with the first one to the locality of Achrafieh , one board of a black “Nissan “ car , with the aim of tracking and control.
On 23-11-2024, the Special Force in the a/m Department has arrested the two Syrians in the locality of Sin El Fil, and they have confessed having participated in the robbery operation.
We have taken the legal measures against them, and they have been conducted to the concerned authorities.
The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: As part of the Internal Security Forces' ongoing efforts to pursue and arrest perpetrators of all types of crimes throughout Lebanon, the Mount Lebanon Investigation Unit of the Regional Gendarmerie received information indicating that an individual was dealing narcotics while riding a motorcycle on the Ghazir Highway. Following investigations and inquiries conducted by the unit, one of its patrols arrested the suspect on 3 August 2026 while he was riding a motorcycle in the above-mentioned area. He was identified as: A. Y. (born in 1998, Syrian national). A search of the suspect and the motorcycle led to the seizure of: 15 small plastic-wrapped packets containing a white substance. 14 large plastic-wrapped packets containing a white substance. One small open bag containing a quantity of cannabis resin (hashish). Cash in US dollars of various denominations and Lebanese pounds. Two mobile phones and one tablet device. The suspect, together with the seized items and the motorcycle, was handed over to the competent unit for the necessary legal proceedings, in accordance with the instructions of the competent judicial authority.

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: As part of the Internal Security Forces' ongoing efforts to identify and apprehend perpetrators of various crimes throughout Lebanon, the Tripoli Judicial Detachment of the Judicial Police Unit arrested: J. M. A. N. (born in 1970, Lebanese). She is suspected of committing fraud and impersonation. According to the investigation, she allegedly impersonated an inspector from the Ministry of Economy and approached owners of private businesses and companies, requesting sums of money under the pretext that they represented an annual tax imposed on them. She also allegedly contacted other victims by telephone and used the same scheme. Therefore, upon the instructions of the competent judicial authority, the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces is circulating her photograph and requests anyone who has fallen victim to her acts and recognizes her to contact the Tripoli Judicial Detachment at 06-443889, in preparation for taking the necessary legal measures.

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: As part of the daily efforts undertaken by the Internal Security Forces to combat crime, particularly drug trafficking and dealing across various Lebanese regions, the Information Branch obtained information indicating that unidentified individuals were distributing narcotics in several areas of Mount Lebanon Governorate, particularly in Metn, Keserwan, and Jbeil. Accordingly, the specialized units of the Branch were tasked with locating and arresting the suspects. On various dates, following extensive field monitoring and intensified patrols in the areas where the suspects were active, Information Branch patrols carried out a series of ambushes and raids in Zouk Mosbeh, Jdeideh, Safra, Bourj Hammoud, and Furn El Chebbak. These operations resulted in the arrest of six drug dealers, who were traveling on three motorcycles and two cars, all of which were seized. The suspects are: A. D. (born in 1993, Palestinian) J. M. (born in 1998, Syrian) H. A. (born in 1991, Lebanese) K. K. (born in 2001, Syrian) F. S. (born in 2003, Syrian) M. Sh. (born in 2007, Syrian) The suspects were found in possession of quantities of various narcotics, including cocaine, baz, cannabis resin (hashish), marijuana, crystal methamphetamine, and narcotic pills, as well as one counterfeit US$100 banknote. During interrogation, they confessed to the offenses attributed to them. The necessary legal measures were taken against them, and they were referred, together with the seized items, to the competent judicial authority in accordance with judicial instructions.

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: First – Sodeco: A contracting company will carry out road resurfacing works in the Sodeco area on both carriageways, from the Bechara El Khoury intersection to the Sodeco intersection, from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, 4 August 2026. Second – Eastbound Nahr Ibrahim–Madfoun Highway: Further to our previous statement regarding traffic measures on the eastbound carriageway of the Nahr Ibrahim–Madfoun Highway, scheduled from 10:00 p.m. today until dawn tomorrow for the maintenance of reflective road studs, these works have been postponed. The contractor will instead carry out the maintenance works from 10:00 p.m. on 5 August 2026 until 5:00 a.m. the following day. During the works, traffic heading toward Byblos (Jbeil) will be diverted onto the coastal road from the Nahr Ibrahim interchange. Third – Westbound Highway after the Chekka Tunnel: A contracting company will collect asphalt samples on the westbound carriageway after the Chekka Tunnel for testing by the Higher Relief Commission. The works will take place on 4 and 5 August 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Traffic will not be closed; however, the roadway will be partially narrowed during the works. Citizens are kindly requested to comply with the instructions of Internal Security Forces personnel and the traffic signs in place to facilitate traffic flow and prevent congestion.
