The Directorate General of the ISF, Public Relations Department, has published the following notification:
On 11-11-2024, unknown persons have entered by effraction to one of the compagnies in the locality of Achrafieh -Beirut, and have stolen a safe that contains a sum of money.
Immediately, the specialized units in the ISF, have launched their measures in order to arrest the actors and to arrest them. And further a technical work and inquiries, the Information Department has succeeded to identify one of the involved persons, and he is named:
(M. M born on 1975, Lebanese)
And he has previous convictions for crimes of theft, robbery, threat, selling of stolen objects, appropriation of arms and munitions, and he is wanted by the authorities by virtue of 5 judicial warrants for robbery, effraction, composition of gangs and arms.
On the basis of the above, orders have been taken in order to localize him and to arrest him.
On 22-11-2024, and further a delicate following up work, a Special Force in the Information Department, has succeeded to arrest him in the locality of Sakiyet Al Janzir, on board of a black “Nissan “ Car , and this is the car used in the robbery operation. (it has been seized) . Also, it has arrested with him the named:

And he has also previous convictions for crimes of theft, fraud, resistance to police agents, privation of liberty, beating and harassment.
We have seized inside the car gloves and discs for iron cutting.
By hearing the first one, he has confessed what it was been alleged to him, and having carried out the robbery operation with the following persons:
Also, they have confessed that they have shared the stolen sum of money between them, and they have tracked the company before having execute the operation.
And by hearing the second one, (F. K ), he has confessed having moved with the first one to the locality of Achrafieh , one board of a black “Nissan “ car , with the aim of tracking and control.
On 23-11-2024, the Special Force in the a/m Department has arrested the two Syrians in the locality of Sin El Fil, and they have confessed having participated in the robbery operation.
We have taken the legal measures against them, and they have been conducted to the concerned authorities.
Issued by the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement was issued: A video clip of an interview conducted during a television program is being circulated on social media, in which the sister of inmate K. M. (born in 1975, Lebanese) made fabricated accusations regarding the alleged mistreatment of her brother by members of the Internal Security Forces, in addition to a series of inaccurate claims. The Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces wishes to clarify the following: The aforementioned inmate had previously been admitted to prison several times during the years 2009, 2012, 2014, and 2018. His most recent admission was on 06-12-2021. Several judgment summaries have been issued against him, sentencing him to ten years of imprisonment, in addition to dozens of judicial warrants issued by the competent judiciary. He has committed several criminal acts and violations inside prisons, documented in 17 reports, most notably: riots, setting fire inside Qobbeh Prison, kidnapping military personnel, assault and battery, death threats, detaining inmates, imposing extortion payments, smuggling prohibited items, possessing mobile phones, self-inflicted cutting, vandalism inside prison, indecent acts, etc. This required his transfer, on more than one occasion, to several prisons for disciplinary reasons, namely: Zahle, Baalbek, Jbeil, Jezzine, Jeb Jennine, Qobbeh, Roumieh, and Amioun. The latest of these measures took place on 06-01-2026, when K. M., while in Jeb Jennine Prison, attempted to smuggle prohibited items and bribe one of the officers. On 07-01-2026, he also went on a hunger strike. After ending his strike, he was transferred to Jbeil Prison in consideration of his family situation and to facilitate communication with his relatives. On 02-06-2026, he inflicted cuts on himself, and was therefore transferred for disciplinary reasons to Zahle Prison, where he repeated the same act. He was then transferred for disciplinary reasons to Baalbek Prison, and subsequently to Batroun Prison. The Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces affirms that the measures taken against the aforementioned inmate were carried out within the applicable legal and regulatory frameworks, with the aim of maintaining order inside prisons, ensuring the safety of inmates and personnel assigned to guard duty, and preventing the smuggling of prohibited items or the commission of any violations or criminal acts inside detention facilities. It also affirms that it will not tolerate any attempt to distort the image of the institution or slander its members through fabricated news or unsubstantiated allegations, and that it reserves its right to file a legal claim against the sister of the aforementioned inmate.

Issued by the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement was issued: As part of the ongoing follow-up carried out by the Internal Security Forces to combat motorcycle theft operations across various Lebanese regions, information was obtained by the Information Branch regarding two unidentified persons carrying out motorcycle thefts in areas within the governorates of Beirut and Mount Lebanon. As a result of intensive investigations and inquiries, the Branch was able to identify them as: H. D. (born in 1996, Lebanese) H. H. (born in 2005, Lebanese) It was found that they are wanted by the judiciary for the crimes of forming a gang, theft, and drug-related offenses. On 27-06-2026, following precise surveillance and monitoring, one of the Branch’s patrols managed to arrest them in the Hadath area, on board an olive-colored “GR” motorcycle without license plates, which was seized. Upon searching them and the motorcycle, the following items were seized: A military pistol with two magazines containing 36 live rounds A military pistol with a magazine containing 9 live rounds Two mobile phones. During the investigation, the first suspect confessed to the charges brought against him, namely carrying out around 50 motorcycle thefts from in front of houses in several areas of Beirut and Mount Lebanon, including Salim Salam, Dora, and the southern suburbs. He also admitted to using drugs, particularly hashish and Tramal. The second suspect also confessed to the charges brought against him and admitted to using hashish. They further stated that they had purchased the two seized pistols found in their possession from a person in Burj El-Barajneh Camp. The necessary legal measures were taken against them, and they were referred, along with the seized items, to the concerned authority, based on the instructions of the competent judiciary.

Issued by the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement was issued: As part of the ongoing follow-up carried out by the Internal Security Forces to combat drug promotion operations across various Lebanese regions, information was obtained by the Information Branch regarding an unidentified person promoting drugs in Mount Lebanon, particularly in the Metn areas. Accordingly, the specialized units of the Branch began their field and intelligence measures to identify and arrest the aforementioned drug dealer. As a result of investigations and inquiries, the Branch was able to identify him as: A. M. (born in 1989, Syrian national) On 23-06-2026, following precise surveillance and monitoring, one of the Branch’s patrols managed to arrest him in the act in the Dbayeh area, while he was promoting drugs on board a silver Kia Cerato vehicle, which was seized. Upon searching him and the vehicle, the following items were seized: 3 plastic containers marked “Fear Nothing,” containing cocaine. 13 plastic containers marked “Fear Nothing” in red, containing cocaine base. 25 plastic containers marked “Fear Nothing” in black, containing cocaine base. A bag containing 14 Captagon pills. 3 mobile phones and a sum of money. During the investigation, he confessed to the charges brought against him. The necessary legal measures were taken against him, and he was referred, along with the seized items, to the competent authority, based on the instructions of the judiciary.

Issued by the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement was issued: On 02-07-2026, on Ziad Rahbani Highway – eastern lane, opposite Al-Ansar Stadium, a collision occurred between a motorcycle driven by an unidentified person, who had no document identifying him, and a disabled tanker truck parked on the side of the road. As a result of the accident, the motorcycle rider was transferred to Al-Rasoul Al-Aazam Hospital while unconscious. He is currently in the intensive care unit. His description: a foreign man in his thirties, dark-skinned, with black hair, of medium build, clean-shaven, with no distinctive marks and no tattoos. Therefore, based on the instructions of the competent judiciary, the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces requests anyone who has any information about him to come to the Dahiyeh Traffic Detachment of the Regional Gendarmerie Unit, or to contact the following number: 01-451062, in order to take the necessary legal measures.
