The Directorate General of the ISF, Public Relations Department, has published the following notification:
On 11-11-2024, unknown persons have entered by effraction to one of the compagnies in the locality of Achrafieh -Beirut, and have stolen a safe that contains a sum of money.
Immediately, the specialized units in the ISF, have launched their measures in order to arrest the actors and to arrest them. And further a technical work and inquiries, the Information Department has succeeded to identify one of the involved persons, and he is named:
(M. M born on 1975, Lebanese)
And he has previous convictions for crimes of theft, robbery, threat, selling of stolen objects, appropriation of arms and munitions, and he is wanted by the authorities by virtue of 5 judicial warrants for robbery, effraction, composition of gangs and arms.
On the basis of the above, orders have been taken in order to localize him and to arrest him.
On 22-11-2024, and further a delicate following up work, a Special Force in the Information Department, has succeeded to arrest him in the locality of Sakiyet Al Janzir, on board of a black “Nissan “ Car , and this is the car used in the robbery operation. (it has been seized) . Also, it has arrested with him the named:

And he has also previous convictions for crimes of theft, fraud, resistance to police agents, privation of liberty, beating and harassment.
We have seized inside the car gloves and discs for iron cutting.
By hearing the first one, he has confessed what it was been alleged to him, and having carried out the robbery operation with the following persons:
Also, they have confessed that they have shared the stolen sum of money between them, and they have tracked the company before having execute the operation.
And by hearing the second one, (F. K ), he has confessed having moved with the first one to the locality of Achrafieh , one board of a black “Nissan “ car , with the aim of tracking and control.
On 23-11-2024, the Special Force in the a/m Department has arrested the two Syrians in the locality of Sin El Fil, and they have confessed having participated in the robbery operation.
We have taken the legal measures against them, and they have been conducted to the concerned authorities.
The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: As part of the Internal Security Forces' ongoing efforts to combat all forms of crime throughout Lebanon, the Information Branch obtained intelligence indicating that an unidentified individual was facilitating prostitution and engaging in human trafficking activities in the Mount Lebanon Governorate. Based on this information, the competent units within the Information Branch were instructed to carry out field operations and investigative measures to identify and apprehend the suspect. As a result of the investigations, he was identified as: M.S. (born in 1987, Lebanese), who has a criminal record for facilitating prostitution and is the subject of two outstanding arrest warrants for facilitating prostitution and human trafficking offenses. On 2 July 2026, following close surveillance, a special unit of the Information Branch arrested him in Hazmieh while he was driving a white Nissan Sunny, which was seized. A search of the suspect and the vehicle resulted in the seizure of a leather wallet containing personal documents and two mobile phones. During questioning, the suspect confessed to the offenses attributed to him. The necessary legal measures were taken against him, and he, together with the seized items, was referred to the competent judicial authority pursuant to the instructions of the competent prosecutor.

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: On 16 July 2026, the Mount Lebanon Investigation Unit arrested: A.F. (born in 1989, Lebanese), on charges of fraud, obtaining money by deception, and theft. The suspect worked as an aluminum maintenance technician. He collected money from customers on the pretext of carrying out maintenance work, then diverted the funds into stock market trading without performing the agreed work or returning the money to its owners. Accordingly, and pursuant to the instructions of the competent judicial authority, the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces is releasing his photograph and urges anyone who has fallen victim to his fraudulent activities and recognizes him to contact the Bir Hassan Police Station, within the Regional Gendarmerie Unit, at 01-858473, in order to initiate the necessary legal procedures.

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: On 19 July 2026, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., the Second 4x4 Off-Road Race will take place in the Kfarselouane area. Traffic along the race route will be diverted until the event concludes. The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces kindly requests motorists and members of the public to comply with the instructions of Internal Security Forces personnel and the traffic signs posted in the area in order to facilitate the smooth flow of traffic.

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: As part of the Internal Security Forces' ongoing efforts to combat motorcycle theft across various regions of Lebanon, the Information Branch obtained intelligence indicating that two unidentified individuals were involved in stealing motorcycles in Beirut and Mount Lebanon. A video documenting one of the thefts committed by the suspects was also circulated on social media. Based on this information, the competent units within the Information Branch were instructed to carry out field operations and investigative measures to identify and apprehend those involved. As a result of the investigations, it was determined that the alleged ringleader is: A.Q. (born in 2006, Lebanese), who has a criminal record for robbery and drug-related offenses and is the subject of an outstanding wanted notice for robbery and drug offenses. On 1 July 2026, following surveillance and monitoring operations, an Information Branch patrol arrested him in Sin El Fil while he was riding a gray GR 150 motorcycle without license plates, which was seized. It was subsequently established that the motorcycle had been stolen on 8 June 2026 from Ain El Remmaneh. A search of the suspect and the motorcycle resulted in the seizure of: a military handgun containing a loaded magazine with one live round, along with a handgun holster; a ring, a necklace with a live cartridge pendant, and a black bracelet with a gold-colored finish; three mobile phones; an amount of cash. During questioning, the suspect confessed to the charges against him. He admitted that, together with other individuals, he had carried out numerous motorcycle thefts in Beirut and Mount Lebanon, including in Ain El Remmaneh and Maamoura. He also admitted to firing shots at an individual on 9 June 2026, as well as selling stolen motorcycles on behalf of a person residing in the Lailaki area. Furthermore, he admitted to using narcotic drugs, including cocaine base and cannabis. The necessary legal measures were taken against him, and he, together with the seized items, was referred to the competent judicial authority pursuant to the instructions of the competent public prosecutor. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining individuals involved.
