The Directorate General of the ISF, Public Relations Department, has published the following notification:
On 11-11-2024, unknown persons have entered by effraction to one of the compagnies in the locality of Achrafieh -Beirut, and have stolen a safe that contains a sum of money.
Immediately, the specialized units in the ISF, have launched their measures in order to arrest the actors and to arrest them. And further a technical work and inquiries, the Information Department has succeeded to identify one of the involved persons, and he is named:
(M. M born on 1975, Lebanese)
And he has previous convictions for crimes of theft, robbery, threat, selling of stolen objects, appropriation of arms and munitions, and he is wanted by the authorities by virtue of 5 judicial warrants for robbery, effraction, composition of gangs and arms.
On the basis of the above, orders have been taken in order to localize him and to arrest him.
On 22-11-2024, and further a delicate following up work, a Special Force in the Information Department, has succeeded to arrest him in the locality of Sakiyet Al Janzir, on board of a black “Nissan “ Car , and this is the car used in the robbery operation. (it has been seized) . Also, it has arrested with him the named:

And he has also previous convictions for crimes of theft, fraud, resistance to police agents, privation of liberty, beating and harassment.
We have seized inside the car gloves and discs for iron cutting.
By hearing the first one, he has confessed what it was been alleged to him, and having carried out the robbery operation with the following persons:
Also, they have confessed that they have shared the stolen sum of money between them, and they have tracked the company before having execute the operation.
And by hearing the second one, (F. K ), he has confessed having moved with the first one to the locality of Achrafieh , one board of a black “Nissan “ car , with the aim of tracking and control.
On 23-11-2024, the Special Force in the a/m Department has arrested the two Syrians in the locality of Sin El Fil, and they have confessed having participated in the robbery operation.
We have taken the legal measures against them, and they have been conducted to the concerned authorities.
The Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: As part of the Internal Security Forces’ ongoing efforts to combat various forms of crime, the Information Branch obtained information about unidentified individuals who, using a black Chevrolet Tahoe SUV, broke into the warehouses of a company in Deichounieh and stole large quantities of alcoholic beverages, meat, and food products, with an estimated value of approximately US$100,000. Following this information, the Branch’s specialized units launched field and intelligence operations to identify and apprehend those involved. Investigations revealed that the theft had been carried out in several stages on different dates. The Branch also succeeded in identifying the perpetrators, including the alleged mastermind, who had worked as a security guard at the company for ten years and owned the vehicle used in the theft. He was identified as: Kh. H. (born in 1998, Syrian national). On 11 August 2026, following close surveillance and monitoring, a Branch patrol arrested him in the Tabarja area while he was aboard the same vehicle, which was seized. During questioning, he admitted to the allegations against him and confessed to carrying out the theft in three stages, in collaboration with other individuals. He also stated that he had worked as a security guard at the company for more than ten years and was familiar with its layout, entrances, and exits. He further admitted to selling the stolen goods to a Syrian national involved in smuggling goods into Syrian territory. The necessary legal measures were taken against the detainee, who was referred, together with the seized vehicle, to the competent authority pursuant to judicial instructions. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend the remaining individuals involved.

The Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: As part of the Internal Security Forces’ ongoing efforts to combat motorcycle thefts across Lebanon, the Information Branch obtained information about two unidentified individuals involved in motorcycle thefts in the Haret el-Naameh area, the most recent of which occurred on 11 August 2026. Following this information, the Branch’s specialized units launched field and intelligence operations to identify and arrest the two suspects. Investigations led to their identification as: A. A. (born in 2004, Lebanese national); S. D. F. (born in 2005, Palestinian national). On 13 August 2026, following close surveillance and monitoring, a Branch patrol arrested both suspects in the Haret el-Naameh area. A search of the suspects resulted in the seizure of two utility knives, a booklet of rolling papers, and a quantity of hashish. During questioning, both suspects admitted to the allegations against them and confessed to carrying out several motorcycle thefts in Haret el-Naameh. The necessary legal measures were taken against them, and they were referred, together with the seized items, to the competent authority pursuant to judicial instructions.

The Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: As part of the Internal Security Forces’ ongoing efforts to track down wanted individuals and combat drug dealing across Lebanon, the Mount Lebanon Investigation Detachment of the Territorial Gendarmerie Unit received information about an individual dealing drugs from a motorcycle in the Zouk Mosbeh area. Following this information, a patrol from the Detachment proceeded to the area. After close surveillance and monitoring, the patrol succeeded in arresting the suspect on 6 August 2026 while he was aboard a dark grey “Sweet” motorcycle. He was identified as: – A. M. (born in 1999, Syrian national). A search of the suspect resulted in the seizure of: 19 plastic containers of various sizes, each containing a white substance; A quantity of hashish; A sum of money and a mobile phone. The detainee and the seized items were handed over to the competent unit for the necessary legal action, pursuant to the instructions of the competent judicial authority.

The Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: On 18 August 2026, officers from the Basta Police Station of the Beirut Police Unit arrested the following married couple: M. Gh. (born in 1980, Lebanese national); L. H. (born in 1990, Lebanese national). They were arrested in the Basta – Ouzai Street area after the owner of a jewelry store caught them stealing jewelry using a sophisticated sleight-of-hand technique. The theft was captured on surveillance cameras. A search of the couple resulted in the seizure of 13 gold items without receipts. The jewelry store owner identified five of the items as belonging to him, while the source of the remaining items is still being investigated. Accordingly, and pursuant to the instructions of the competent judicial authority, the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces is circulating their photographs and asks anyone who has fallen victim to their activities and recognizes them to report to the Basta Police Station of the Beirut Police Unit or call 01-633808, so that the necessary legal procedures can be taken.
