The Directorate General of the ISF, Public Relations Department, has published the following notification:
On 11-11-2024, unknown persons have entered by effraction to one of the compagnies in the locality of Achrafieh -Beirut, and have stolen a safe that contains a sum of money.
Immediately, the specialized units in the ISF, have launched their measures in order to arrest the actors and to arrest them. And further a technical work and inquiries, the Information Department has succeeded to identify one of the involved persons, and he is named:
(M. M born on 1975, Lebanese)
And he has previous convictions for crimes of theft, robbery, threat, selling of stolen objects, appropriation of arms and munitions, and he is wanted by the authorities by virtue of 5 judicial warrants for robbery, effraction, composition of gangs and arms.
On the basis of the above, orders have been taken in order to localize him and to arrest him.
On 22-11-2024, and further a delicate following up work, a Special Force in the Information Department, has succeeded to arrest him in the locality of Sakiyet Al Janzir, on board of a black “Nissan “ Car , and this is the car used in the robbery operation. (it has been seized) . Also, it has arrested with him the named:

And he has also previous convictions for crimes of theft, fraud, resistance to police agents, privation of liberty, beating and harassment.
We have seized inside the car gloves and discs for iron cutting.
By hearing the first one, he has confessed what it was been alleged to him, and having carried out the robbery operation with the following persons:
Also, they have confessed that they have shared the stolen sum of money between them, and they have tracked the company before having execute the operation.
And by hearing the second one, (F. K ), he has confessed having moved with the first one to the locality of Achrafieh , one board of a black “Nissan “ car , with the aim of tracking and control.
On 23-11-2024, the Special Force in the a/m Department has arrested the two Syrians in the locality of Sin El Fil, and they have confessed having participated in the robbery operation.
We have taken the legal measures against them, and they have been conducted to the concerned authorities.
The Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: As part of the Internal Security Forces’ ongoing efforts to combat crimes of all kinds, and as part of its efforts to track down and arrest drug dealers, the Mount Lebanon Investigation Detachment of the Territorial Gendarmerie Unit received information about an individual dealing drugs from a motorcycle in the Airport Road area. Accordingly, a unit from the detachment proceeded to the location, where the suspect was spotted. Following surveillance and monitoring, on 11 August 2026, the patrol arrested him while he was on an unregistered silver “Abrio” motorcycle. He was identified as: J. T. (born in 1996, Syrian national). A search of the suspect resulted in the seizure of: 17 transparent bags containing a narcotic substance, packaged in blue paper bearing the words “Gram Net Extra”; 4 transparent bags containing a narcotic substance, packaged in green paper bearing the words “Gram Baz Extra”; a sum of money and a mobile phone. The suspect, along with the seized items and substances and the motorcycle, was handed over to the relevant police station for the necessary legal measures to be taken against him, pursuant to the instructions of the competent judiciary.

The Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: Acting on the instructions of the competent judicial authority, the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces is circulating photographs of the following two detainees: R. R. (born in 1999, Lebanese national) A. F. (born in 1994, Lebanese national) They are suspected of engaging in extortion and demanding illegal payments from visitors to the Bab al-Raml cemetery in Tripoli. It was also established that the second detainee is the subject of an arrest warrant for a drug-related offence. Accordingly, the Directorate General asks anyone who has fallen victim to their activities and recognizes them to report to the Bab al-Raml ISF station, under the Territorial Gendarmerie Unit, or to call 06-423491, so that the necessary legal measures can be taken.

The Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: On 7 August 2026, unidentified individuals in a black BMW abducted a girl (born in 2007, Palestinian) from her workplace in the Hilaliyeh area of Sidon and fled to an unknown destination. A video showing the abduction circulated on social media, causing fear in the area. Her father (born in 1978, Palestinian) filed a complaint against unknown persons for the abduction of his daughter. The specialized units of the Information Branch immediately launched field and intelligence operations to uncover the circumstances surrounding the abduction and identify those involved. As a result of their inquiries and investigations, they were able, within a short period of time, to identify the two abductors as: M. S. (born in 2006, Lebanese); A. A. (born in 2003, Syrian). On the same date, following meticulous surveillance and monitoring, Information Branch patrols arrested both suspects in less than 24 hours in a simultaneous operation carried out in the Hilaliyeh and Majdelyoun areas. One of the patrols found the abducted girl in the Sidon area after the two abductors had released her. During questioning, the first suspect admitted to the charges against him, including taking part in the abduction with the second suspect because the girl had refused to enter into a relationship with him. He stated that he had taken her to a house in the town of Ansar, and later released her and returned her to Sidon after news of the abduction spread and the Internal Security Forces began taking action. The second suspect also admitted to the charges against him. The necessary legal measures were taken against both suspects, and they were handed over to the relevant authority pursuant to the instructions of the competent judiciary.

The Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: The Ministry of Public Works and Transport has begun rehabilitation works on the damaged retaining walls along the Bikfaya–Dhour Choueir main road. The works will continue until 29 August 2026. The aforementioned road will be completely closed to traffic throughout the duration of the works. Traffic traveling from Bikfaya toward Dhour Choueir will be diverted via the Deir Mar Elias–Chouaya road, while traffic coming from the Metn Express Highway will be diverted via the Chalimar road, and vice versa. Accordingly, the Directorate General asks citizens and motorists using the aforementioned road to comply with the posted traffic signs and follow the instructions of Internal Security Forces personnel in order to avoid congestion.
