The Directorate General of the ISF, Public Relations Department, has published the following notification:
On 11-11-2024, unknown persons have entered by effraction to one of the compagnies in the locality of Achrafieh -Beirut, and have stolen a safe that contains a sum of money.
Immediately, the specialized units in the ISF, have launched their measures in order to arrest the actors and to arrest them. And further a technical work and inquiries, the Information Department has succeeded to identify one of the involved persons, and he is named:
(M. M born on 1975, Lebanese)
And he has previous convictions for crimes of theft, robbery, threat, selling of stolen objects, appropriation of arms and munitions, and he is wanted by the authorities by virtue of 5 judicial warrants for robbery, effraction, composition of gangs and arms.
On the basis of the above, orders have been taken in order to localize him and to arrest him.
On 22-11-2024, and further a delicate following up work, a Special Force in the Information Department, has succeeded to arrest him in the locality of Sakiyet Al Janzir, on board of a black “Nissan “ Car , and this is the car used in the robbery operation. (it has been seized) . Also, it has arrested with him the named:

And he has also previous convictions for crimes of theft, fraud, resistance to police agents, privation of liberty, beating and harassment.
We have seized inside the car gloves and discs for iron cutting.
By hearing the first one, he has confessed what it was been alleged to him, and having carried out the robbery operation with the following persons:
Also, they have confessed that they have shared the stolen sum of money between them, and they have tracked the company before having execute the operation.
And by hearing the second one, (F. K ), he has confessed having moved with the first one to the locality of Achrafieh , one board of a black “Nissan “ car , with the aim of tracking and control.
On 23-11-2024, the Special Force in the a/m Department has arrested the two Syrians in the locality of Sin El Fil, and they have confessed having participated in the robbery operation.
We have taken the legal measures against them, and they have been conducted to the concerned authorities.
Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement: On June 23, 2026, an altercation occurred in the Qasqas area between W. M. (born in 1991, Lebanese) and Q. M. (born in 1994, Lebanese) as a result of previous family disputes. During the incident, Q. M. fired a handgun at W. M., striking his vehicle with several rounds before fleeing to an unknown location. A video documenting the incident later circulated widely on social media. Immediately following the incident, the specialized units of the Internal Security Forces were instructed to launch field investigations and intelligence-gathering efforts to locate and apprehend the shooter. As a result of these investigations, the Information Branch identified the suspect's whereabouts in the Chatila area. On June 29, 2026, following a carefully planned surveillance operation, one of the Branch's patrols arrested him in the aforementioned area. Officers also seized a handgun, one magazine, and 13 rounds of live ammunition in his possession. The necessary legal measures were taken against him, and he was referred, together with the seized items, to the competent authority upon the instructions of the competent judicial authority.

Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement: First: At 8:00 a.m. on July 12, 2026, the Lebanese Cycling Federation will organize the Lebanese Cycling Championship for Persons with Disabilities in the Marina–Dbayeh area, between Golden Beach and the Martyr Brigadier General Wissam Al Hassan Barracks in Dbayeh along the coastal road. The race will be held over several laps. For this occasion, the affected roadway will be closed and traffic will be diverted throughout the event. Second: At 8:00 a.m. on July 12, 2026, the Harajel Marathon will take place on the Harajel highway. Traffic will be diverted as follows: Downhill traffic will be redirected via Nabaa Al Maghara Road toward Fouad Restaurant. Uphill traffic will be redirected toward the Qarqouf area, continuing to the highway near Jalsat Al Arzal Restaurant. These traffic diversions will remain in effect until the end of the marathon. Third: From 8:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. on July 12, 2026, the Second Drift Competition will take place in the Tell El-Zaatar – Dekwaneh area. Accordingly, the road in the area will be closed to traffic until the conclusion of the event. Citizens are requested to comply with the instructions of Internal Security Forces personnel and the directional signs posted in the affected areas in order to ensure public safety and prevent traffic congestion.

Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement: As part of the Internal Security Forces' ongoing efforts to combat fraud and scams across various Lebanese regions, the Information Branch received information about an unidentified individual who had carried out several fraudulent schemes targeting delivery workers in different areas of the Mount Lebanon Governorate through social media platforms. The suspect's method consisted of contacting delivery workers and asking them to deliver items to fictitious recipients. He provided them with two phone numbers that he used for this purpose and persuaded them to advance sums of money, claiming that the recipients would reimburse them upon delivery. Once he had obtained what he wanted, he disappeared, deactivated his phone line, and blocked the delivery worker's number. The Branch's specialized units immediately launched field investigations and intelligence-gathering efforts to identify and apprehend the suspect. Their investigations led to the identification of: T. H. (born in 1999, Lebanese) On June 22, 2026, following a carefully planned surveillance operation, one of the Information Branch's patrols arrested him in the Jdeideh area and seized his mobile phone. During questioning, he confessed to the charges against him, admitting that he had carried out numerous fraud schemes through social media targeting delivery workers across the Mount Lebanon Governorate. The necessary legal measures were taken against him, and he was referred, along with his mobile phone, to the competent authority upon the instructions of the competent judicial authority.

The Embassy of the Russian Federation in Lebanon honored Brigadier Administrator Moussa Korneib, Commander of the Internal Security Forces' Embassies, Public Administrations and Institutions Security Service, during a ceremony held on July 10, 2026, at the Embassy's headquarters in Beirut. The distinction was awarded pursuant to a decision by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation, which presented him with the "For Cooperation" Medal in recognition of his longstanding efforts to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the two sides. The ceremony was attended by Brigadier Administrator Moussa Korneib's family, Ambassador Roula Noureddine, Director of Protocol at the Lebanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, as well as several Internal Security Forces unit commanders and senior officers. The event opened with the Lebanese and Russian national anthems. Russian Ambassador to Lebanon Alexander Rudakov then delivered a speech praising Brigadier Korneib's outstanding role in ensuring the security of the diplomatic corps and protecting public administrations and institutions. He also commended his efforts to enhance cooperation and coordination with the Russian Embassy, emphasizing that the award reflects the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs' appreciation for his support and assistance and symbolizes the mutual trust and cooperation between the two sides.
