Through the inspection carried out by the Information Division, it was found that the members of the gang had created an opening in the back wall of the shop from the side of an abandoned house, allowing them to reach the store’s safe. They took advantage of the rainy weather and thunder sounds to mask the noise during the operation, which lasted about five hours before they left at dawn as normal street activity began.
As a result of careful follow-up, the Division was able to identify the vehicles used in the crime: a white Rapid car and a motorcycle. It also managed to identify all members of the gang, who are all Palestinians:
A.S. (born 1995)
Y.S. (born 1993 – brother of the first)
A.S. (born 1995)
B.S. (born 2005)
On 25-11-2025, division patrols arrested the first and second suspects in the Saida area, while the third and fourth were simultaneously arrested in the Tyre area.
A force from the Division also searched their homes inside the Burj Al-Shamali camp, where approximately 5,300 grams of the stolen jewelry were seized.
During questioning, all suspects confessed to carrying out the robbery by creating an opening in the back wall of the shop using a ladder and a hammer, taking advantage of the rainy weather. The first and second suspects also admitted that they had planned the operation after having previously entered the shop to perform maintenance work.
The necessary legal measures were taken against the detainees, while the investigation is still ongoing under the supervision of the competent judiciary.
