Based on the instructions of the competent judiciary, the General Directorate circulates the composite sketch of a wanted woman in her thirties, wearing a hijab, for fraud committed through social media platforms, in order to identify her.

Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division: As part of the daily follow-up carried out by the Internal Security Forces to curb drug trafficking operations across various Lebanese regions, the Information Division obtained information about an individual involved in drug distribution in Mount Lebanon areas, particularly in the Metn district. Accordingly, the competent units within the Branch initiated field and intelligence procedures to identify and arrest the suspect. As a result of investigations and inquiries, his identity was identified as: N. A. B. (born in 2001, Lebanese) On 10/05/2026, following a precise surveillance and monitoring operation, one of the Branch’s patrols managed to arrest him in flagrante delicto in the Nahr Al-Mott area while he was distributing drugs aboard a black “GR” motorcycle without license plates, which was seized. A search of the suspect and the motorcycle led to the seizure of: 4 bags containing Captagon pills weighing approximately 39 grams 5 bags marked with the letter “A” containing cocaine 7 bags containing cocaine 8 capsules containing cocaine 14 capsules containing “Baz” substance 5 bags containing cannabis resin 3 bags containing marijuana One bag containing “Salvia” substance A mobile phone and an amount of money During interrogation, he confessed to the charges against him. The necessary legal measures were taken against him, and he, along with the seized items, was referred to the competent authority based on the instructions of the competent judiciary.

Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division: As part of the continuous efforts undertaken by the Internal Security Forces to combat various types of crimes, a patrol from the Beirut Investigation Division of the Beirut Police Unit managed, on 14/05/2026, to arrest two individuals caught in the act in the Cola area while attempting to steal a motorcycle. They are: T. T. (born in 2005, Lebanese) Y. J. (born in 1992, Syrian) It was also found that the first suspect was wanted under four arrest warrants and a search and investigation notice for armed robbery and theft crimes. A search of the suspects led to the seizure of two loaded military pistols ready for use, in addition to a knife, which they used in carrying out their criminal operations and terrorizing citizens. During interrogation, the two confessed to forming an armed gang and carrying out a series of armed robberies and motorcycle thefts across several areas in Beirut and Mount Lebanon, including Khaldeh, Raoucheh, Ramlet Al-Baida, Damour, Dora, Saadiyat, Jnah, and others. They also admitted to using several criminal methods, notably: Creating disputes with motorcycle riders in order to force them off their motorcycles and steal them. Stealing money and mobile phones from pedestrians at gunpoint. Stealing motorcycles belonging to delivery workers and displaced persons. Investigations further revealed that the suspects were operating within an organized network specialized in stealing motorcycles and storing them in a warehouse in the Sabra area in preparation for selling them and sharing the profits. The suspects, along with the seized items, were referred to the competent authority for the necessary legal action, based on the instructions of the competent judiciary. Efforts are ongoing to arrest the remaining individuals involved.

Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division, the following statement: As part of the continuous efforts undertaken by the Internal Security Forces to combat theft crimes of all kinds, especially residential burglaries, and to track down and arrest perpetrators throughout all Lebanese regions, on the night of 10-05-2026, a citizen filed a complaint before the Halba Police Station in the Regional Gendarmerie Unit against an unknown individual for unlawfully entering his home located in the Sahlet Arqa – Halba area without forced entry, and stealing an iron safe containing gold worth approximately USD 60,000, in addition to an estimated USD 500 in cash. As a result of the investigation and in less than 24 hours, a patrol from the Information Branch succeeded in identifying the thief and arresting him during a security operation in the Halba area. He was identified as: M.B. (born in 2002, Lebanese), wanted under two arrest warrants and a judicial sentence, all for theft-related crimes. During interrogation, he confessed to the acts attributed to him and admitted entering and robbing the house. A search of his person led to the seizure of the following stolen items: 13.25 gold coins 4 large gold ounces and 1 small gold ounce 3 bracelets A necklace and a plaque bracelet The necessary legal measures were taken against him, and he, along with the seized items, was referred to the competent authority based on the instructions of the competent judiciary.

Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division, the following statement: The contracting company will continue asphalt rehabilitation and maintenance works, including road marking with thermal paint, installation of reflective road studs, and other related works, on both lanes of Imam Khomeini Boulevard and Imad Mughniyeh Bridge on 15, 16, and 17 May 2026, daily from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. Please note that traffic will not be completely blocked in the area. Therefore, the General Directorate requests citizens to take note of and comply with the implemented traffic measures in order to facilitate traffic flow and prevent congestion.
