On June 30, 2025, the Director General of the Internal Security Forces, Major General Raed Abdullah, met with the newly appointed Commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), Major General Diodato Abagnara, at his office in the ISF Headquarters. The meeting focused on strengthening cooperation and coordination between the two sides, and included discussions on the overall security situation in the country, particularly along the southern border.
The General Director of the ISF, Major General Imad Osman, has received yesterday, the 21rst of December 2022, in his office at the headquarter, the Director of the project “ Promoting community policing in Lebanon “, colonel Joaquin Plasencia Garcia, for a visit during which they have discussed the third component (human Rights) of the aforesaid project. Also they have negotiated the means of enhancing the cooperation between the two parties, in order to develop the activities carried out by the organizations of the civil community, with the cooperation of the ISF, In the end of this visit, Major General Imad Osman, has offered for Colonel Joaquin, a commemorative shield as a gesture of loyalty, and as an appreciation of all his efforts.

The Director General of the ISF , Major General Imad Osman, has received today the 26th of October 2022, at noon, in his office at the headquarter, the Representative of the Secretary General of the United Nations in Lebanon, Mrs. Joanna Wronecka, for a visit during which they have done a turnover of the general situation in Lebanon .

The Director General of the ISF, Major General Imad Osman, has received today before noon, on the 14th of December 2021, in his office at the headquarter, the Ambassador of the USA in Lebanon, Mrs. Dorothy Shea, in a visit during which it was a roundup of the current situation of the country and especially the institution situation.

The Director General of the ISF, Major General Imad Osman, has received today at noon , the 2-3-2021, in his office at the headquarter, the Ambassador of Australia in Lebanon, Mrs. Rebecca Grindley, for a visit during which we have done a roundup of the relations between the two countries, and the means of cooperation . Also they discussed the general situation of the country.
