On Monday, December 15, 2020, Major General Raed Abdullah, Director General of the Internal Security Forces, received Dr. Mohammad Reda Fadlallah, President of the Lebanese University of Sciences and Arts (USAL), at his office in the General Headquarters barracks. Dr. Fadlallah was accompanied by a delegation that included Dr. Nasri Harb, Dr. Yasser Fadlallah, Dr. Ahmad Fadlallah, and Ms. Malak Harqous. During the visit, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the university and the Internal Security Forces regarding academic cooperation between the two parties. The meeting was also attended by Brigadier General Dr. Alfred Hanna, Commander of the Internal Security Forces Institute, Brigadier General Ahmad Abela, Head of the Planning and Organization Division, Brigadier General Maroun Khawand, Head of the Administrative Affairs Division, Brigadier General Fadi Al-Hajj, Head of the Training Division, Brigadier General Taroudi Al-Qadi, and Captain Mohammad Al-Hajj, Head of the Complaints, Guidance, and Protocol Branch in the Public Relations Division.
The Director General of the Internal Security Forces, Major General Raed Abdullah, received today, July 10, 2026, in his office at the General Headquarters barracks, the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Lebanon, Mr. Fahd bin Abdul Rahman Al-Dosari, on a courtesy visit marking the start of his new diplomatic mission in Lebanon. The meeting included a review of the general situation in the country.

The Director General of the Internal Security Forces, Major General Raed Abdallah, received in his office at the General Headquarters Barracks, before noon today, 02-07-2026, the Commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), Major General Diodato Abagnara, during a visit in which ways to enhance cooperation and coordination between the two sides were discussed. The security situation in the country was also reviewed, particularly along the southern border. During the meeting, Major General Abagnara presented Major General Abdallah with a commemorative shield.

On 14-05-2026, a tribute ceremony was held at the General Headquarters Barracks – Hall of Honor in honor of former Director General Major General Imad Othman on the occasion of his retirement, in the presence of Director General Major General Raed Abdullah, along with unit commanders and department’s heads. Major General Abdullah praised the role played by Major General Othman in leading the Internal Security Forces and maintaining their readiness and continuity despite the economic and living crises, as well as major security challenges, particularly in the fields of combating crime and terrorism and preserving security and stability. For his part, Major General Othman thanked the organizers for the initiative and loyal gesture, noting that the period during which he assumed leadership of the institution was extremely sensitive and difficult. He stressed that the primary concern was preserving the cohesion of the Internal Security Forces and ensuring their continued fulfillment of their national duty despite the harsh conditions and the sharp decline in military salaries, affirming that the institution remained by the citizens’ side and maintained security and order during the most difficult times. During the occasion, a commemorative shield was presented to Major General Othman as a token of loyalty and appreciation for his career and efforts in serving the institution and the nation.

The Director General of the Internal Security Forces, Major General Raed Abdallah, received in his office at the General Headquarters barracks yesterday at noon (28-04-2026) the Chargé d’Affaires of the Syrian Embassy in Lebanon, Mr. Iyad Al-Hazzaa, during a visit in which general matters were discussed.
