1- As part of the ongoing efforts of the Internal Security Forces to enhance security and apprehend lawbreakers, and following investigations, the Bekaa Investigation Detachment of the Regional Gendarmerie Unit received information that a doctor named: – R.K. (born in 1969, Palestinian) was practicing medicine without a license, inside a clinic in the town of Bar Elias. A force from the detachment raided the aforementioned clinic, in the presence of representatives from the relevant health department, and arrested the doctor while he was examining patients. They also seized a stamp bearing his name and a prescription pad. The clinic was sealed with red wax, and the detainee, along with the seized items, was handed over to the relevant unit to take the necessary legal action against him, in accordance with the instructions of the competent judicial authority.
2- In the same context, and based on information received by the aforementioned detachment regarding an individual selling smuggled medications in the Qaa Projects area, a patrol from the detachment raided the suspect’s residence in the aforementioned area, where he was arrested. He is identified as: – A.M. (born in 1976, Lebanese). A large quantity of smuggled medications was seized during a search of his residence. The detainee and the seized items were handed over to the relevant unit for legal proceedings, as directed by the competent judicial authority.
Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division – The following communiqué: Within the framework of the ongoing follow-up carried out by the Internal Security Forces to pursue and arrest individuals wanted by the judiciary in various Lebanese regions, information became available to the The Information Division regarding the presence of an individual in the locality of Wadi Al-Rayhan – Akkar, after his reputation spread in the town and surrounding areas for committing thefts, firing gunshots, instigating disturbances, and assaulting civilians. He is identified as: N. T. (born in 1989, Lebanese), against whom /9/ arrest warrants have been issued for crimes of murder, attempted murder, theft, and a summary judgment for weapons-related offenses. On 3-2-2026, following a precise surveillance and monitoring operation, one of the Branch’s patrols succeeded in arresting him in a swift operation in the aforementioned locality. Based on the directives of the Director General of the Internal Security Forces, Major General Raed Abdallah, the Commander of the Embassy, Administrations and Public Institutions Security Unit, Brigadier General Moussa Karnib, honored one of the Airport Inspection Unit’s non-commissioned officers, First Sergeant Nadia Nasser, in the presence of the Commander of the Airport Inspection Platoon, Colonel Ali Hamoush. On 02/02/2026, First Sergeant Nasser took the initiative to care for an infant girl after the child’s mother lost consciousness within the premises of Rafic Hariri International Airport, where she was transferred to a hospital to receive treatment. Several social media platforms circulated photos of the aforementioned First Sergeant while she was caring for the infant. It is worth noting that the infant remained under the care of First Sergeant Nasser throughout the entire period during which the mother stayed in the hospital, until she regained consciousness and became able to care for her daughter once again. Brigadier General Karnib, on behalf of the Director General, praised the humanitarian initiative undertaken by First Sergeant Nasser, commended her dedication and humanitarian spirit, and presented her with a “written commendation from the Unit Commander” as a token of appreciation and gratitude for this honorable ethical and humanitarian conduct.

Issued by the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement was released: As part of the ongoing efforts carried out by the Internal Security Forces to pursue and arrest perpetrators of all types of crimes across various Lebanese regions, information was received by the investigation detachment of the Regional Gendarmerie regarding an individual riding a motorcycle and dealing drugs in the Choueifat area. On 22/01/2026, following surveillance and monitoring, a patrol from the unit arrested him while riding a motorcycle near the Gandour Factory in Choueifat. It was found that his name is: A. N. (born in 2002, Lebanese) Upon searching him and the motorcycle, the following items were seized in his possession: A small container containing a white substance wrapped in nylon, bearing a dolphin imprint Approximately USD 3,900 in cash of various denominations, LBP 5,700,000, four counterfeit banknotes of USD 100 each, and a mobile phone

Issued by the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement was released: As part of the daily follow-up carried out by the Internal Security Forces to combat crimes of all kinds, particularly robbery and theft, and to identify and arrest those involved. On 29/1/2026, a female citizen was subjected to a robbery involving a sum of money, after an unknown person broke into her home in the Khreibet al-Jundi area – Akkar. Immediately, the Information division began its field and intelligence procedures to identify the perpetrator. As a result of technical follow-up, his identity was revealed as: W. H. (born in 1981, Lebanese) On 2/2/2026, following careful surveillance and monitoring, one of the branch’s patrols arrested him in the Houshb area – Akkar. During the investigation, he confessed to the acts attributed to him. The necessary legal measures were taken against him, and he was referred to the competent authority based on the directive of the competent judiciary.
