The Central Anti-Drug Office arrests two drug dealers and one of their clients in Salim Salam, seizing large and diverse quantities of narcotics and military weapons.

As part of the continuous efforts undertaken by the Internal Security Forces to pursue and arrest individuals involved in drug-related crimes, and within the framework of the security plan aimed at combating this scourge, the Central Anti-Drug Office of the Judicial Police Unit obtained information regarding the activities of:

I. A. (born in 1997, Lebanese)

S. A. (born in 1992, Lebanese)

who were promoting narcotics stored inside an apartment in the Salim Salam area, particularly crystal meth, considered one of the most dangerous types of drugs.

Following intensive surveillance and monitoring, one of the Office’s patrols arrested them inside the aforementioned apartment.

A search of the apartment led to the seizure of:

2 kilograms of crystal meth

920 grams of cannabis resin

286 grams of marijuana

88 grams of cocaine

57 grams of hallucinogenic mushrooms

14 grams of crack cocaine

7 grams of marijuana seeds

26 MDMA pills, 40 Neodol pills, and 90 Tramadol pills

48 ketamine vials

3 precision scales, a vacuum-sealing machine, plastic containers, and bags used for packaging and distributing narcotics

A Kalashnikov rifle and a military pistol

The patrol also arrested one of their clients inside the apartment:

R. Z. (born in 1990, Lebanese)

The necessary legal measures were taken against the detainees under the supervision of the competent judiciary, while efforts continue to arrest the remaining individuals involved.

He carried out several motorcycle theft operations in the Hazmieh and Kuwaiti Embassy areas, and the Information Branch identified and arrested him.

Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division: As part of the continuous efforts undertaken by the Internal Security Forces units to combat crimes and arrest perpetrators across Lebanese territory, the Information Branch obtained information regarding the activities of an unidentified individual involved in motorcycle theft operations in the areas of the Kuwaiti Embassy and Hazmieh. Following intensive investigations and inquiries, one of the Branch’s patrols succeeded in arresting him in the Hazmieh area. He was identified as: A. R. A. (born in 2006, Syrian) He was arrested while riding a blue “GR” motorcycle without license plates, which was found to be stolen and subsequently seized. A search conducted on him led to the seizure of a mobile phone, an amount of money, and a foreign SIM card. During interrogation, he confessed to carrying out several motorcycle theft operations in the Kuwaiti Embassy and Hazmieh areas. He also admitted that the motorcycle on which he was arrested had been stolen, along with another motorcycle, on 05/05/2026 from in front of City Center in the Hazmieh area. The owner of the seized motorcycle was contacted and the vehicle was returned to him. The necessary legal measures were taken against him, and he, along with the seized items, was referred to the competent authority based on the instructions of the judiciary.

Eid al-Adha prayer held at Roumieh Prison under the patronage of the Committee for the Care of Prisoners and Their Families affiliated with Dar Al-Fatwa.

The Eid al-Adha prayer and sermon were held at Roumieh Prison on the first day of Eid under the patronage of the Committee for the Care of Prisoners and Their Families affiliated with Dar Al-Fatwa in the Lebanese Republic. The Committee’s Secretary-General and religious instructor in prisons, Sheikh Walid Zahra, emphasized the importance of adhering to obedience to Almighty God for the blessings and salvation it brings in this life and the hereafter, following the example of Prophet Ibrahim (Abraham), peace be upon him. Sweets were later distributed to the inmates.

Circulation of the photo of a dangerous detainee involved in robbery and snatching operations arrested by the Mount Lebanon Investigation Division. Have you fallen victim to his crimes?

Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division: At approximately 5:30 p.m. on 21/05/2026, an unidentified individual arrived on a motorcycle of unknown specifications at a pharmacy located on Old Saida Road – Hadath, under the pretext of purchasing medication. He then drew a military pistol at the employee, stole the cash register containing approximately USD 900 and ten million Lebanese pounds, and fled to an unknown destination. Furthermore, on 25/05/2026, the suspect snatched a handbag belonging to a lawyer in the Sayyad area and stole a taxi in the same area after the driver attempted to stop him following the victim’s cries for help. He is also suspected of carrying out other robbery operations. Immediately, the competent units of the Internal Security Forces launched procedures to identify and arrest the perpetrator. As a result of immediate and intensive investigations and inquiries, the Mount Lebanon Investigation Division of the Regional Gendarmerie Unit succeeded in arresting him in the Bourj El-Barajneh area. A forged civil status document was found in his possession, and he was identified as: B. M. (born in 1995, Lebanese) It was also revealed that he has a criminal record and is involved in similar operations. The detainee was handed over to the competent police station, and investigations were initiated under the supervision of the competent judiciary. Therefore, and based on the instructions of the competent judiciary, the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces circulates the photo of the detainee and requests anyone who has fallen victim to his acts and recognizes him to report to the Mount Lebanon Investigation Division or contact the number 01-292923 in preparation for taking the necessary legal measures.

The Information Branch arrests the perpetrator of armed robbery operations in Mount Lebanon.

Issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division: As part of the continuous efforts undertaken by the Internal Security Forces units to combat crimes and arrest perpetrators throughout Lebanese territory, the Information Branch obtained information regarding an unidentified individual carrying out armed robbery operations in several areas within Mount Lebanon Governorate, after a video circulated on social media documenting him committing an armed robbery in the Bouchrieh Dam area. Accordingly, the competent units within the Branch launched field and intelligence procedures, and as a result of intensive investigations and inquiries, they succeeded in arresting him in the Hay El-Sellom area. He was identified as: B. A. (born in 1997, Lebanese) He was arrested while riding a “GR” motorcycle without license plates, which was later found to be stolen. It was also revealed that he has a criminal record involving theft, robbery, and drug-related offenses, and that six judicial warrants had been issued against him for firearm-related crimes. During interrogation, he confessed to carrying out several armed robbery operations in Mount Lebanon areas, including the aforementioned incident in the Bouchrieh Dam area, using the motorcycle on which he was arrested. He also stated that he had purchased the motorcycle from another person and had sold the pistol used in the robbery in the Shatila area. He further admitted to drug use. The necessary legal measures were taken against him, and he, along with the seized items, was referred to the competent authority based on the instructions of the judiciary.
