The following statement was issued:
On 02-07-2026, on Ziad Rahbani Highway – eastern lane, opposite Al-Ansar Stadium, a collision occurred between a motorcycle driven by an unidentified person, who had no document identifying him, and a disabled tanker truck parked on the side of the road.
As a result of the accident, the motorcycle rider was transferred to Al-Rasoul Al-Aazam Hospital while unconscious. He is currently in the intensive care unit.
His description: a foreign man in his thirties, dark-skinned, with black hair, of medium build, clean-shaven, with no distinctive marks and no tattoos.
Therefore, based on the instructions of the competent judiciary, the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces requests anyone who has any information about him to come to the Dahiyeh Traffic Detachment of the Regional Gendarmerie Unit, or to contact the following number: 01-451062, in order to take the necessary legal measures.
Issued by the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following statement was issued: As part of the ongoing follow-up carried out by the Internal Security Forces to combat drug promotion operations across various Lebanese regions, information was obtained by the Information Branch regarding an unidentified person promoting drugs in Mount Lebanon, particularly in the Metn areas. Accordingly, the specialized units of the Branch began their field and intelligence measures to identify and arrest the aforementioned drug dealer. As a result of investigations and inquiries, the Branch was able to identify him as: A. M. (born in 1989, Syrian national) On 23-06-2026, following precise surveillance and monitoring, one of the Branch’s patrols managed to arrest him in the act in the Dbayeh area, while he was promoting drugs on board a silver Kia Cerato vehicle, which was seized. Upon searching him and the vehicle, the following items were seized: 3 plastic containers marked “Fear Nothing,” containing cocaine. 13 plastic containers marked “Fear Nothing” in red, containing cocaine base. 25 plastic containers marked “Fear Nothing” in black, containing cocaine base. A bag containing 14 Captagon pills. 3 mobile phones and a sum of money. During the investigation, he confessed to the charges brought against him. The necessary legal measures were taken against him, and he was referred, along with the seized items, to the competent authority, based on the instructions of the judiciary.

Issued by the Directorate General of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division The following was issued: First: On 05-07-2026, the “2026 Lebanese Official Road Championship” cycling race will be held, organized by the Lebanese Cycling Federation, with the participation of players from federated clubs, along with cycling teams from the Lebanese Army and the Internal Security Forces. The race will take place in the Beit Mery area on the road extending between Zaarour and Baskinta, over several laps within a closed route between 7:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. Accordingly, intersections will be closed and traffic will be diverted along the race route, starting at 7:00 a.m. on the aforementioned date until its completion. Second: On 05-07-2026, the Beirut Marathon Association will organize the “Run The City” 10 km race in Beirut, between 6:15 a.m. and 8:30 a.m., starting from Prince Bachir Street opposite Al-Amin Mosque and ending at Ahmad Chawki Street opposite Metropole Restaurant. The number of participants is estimated at around 1,700 male and female runners. On this occasion, the race route will be fully isolated starting at 4:30 a.m. on 05-07-2026 until the race ends. Vehicles will also begin to be removed along the entire race route starting at 6:00 p.m. on 04-07-2026. Citizens are kindly requested to take note and to abide by the instructions and directions of Internal Security Forces personnel, as well as traffic guidance signs in the aforementioned areas, in order to preserve public safety and facilitate traffic flow.

As a result of investigations and inquiries, the Branch was able to identify him as: M. Y. (born in 2002, Syrian national) On 24-06-2026, following precise surveillance and monitoring, one of the Branch’s patrols managed to arrest him in the act in the Sin El-Fil area, while he was promoting drugs on board a black “Sweet” motorcycle, which was seized. Upon searching him and the motorcycle, the following items were found: A plastic container marked “S100” containing cocaine. 9 plastic containers containing cocaine. Two plastic containers marked “S100” containing cocaine base. Two bags marked “S50” containing cocaine. A bag containing 19 Captagon pills. A booklet of rolling papers. Two mobile phones and a sum of money. During the investigation, he confessed to the charges brought against him. The necessary legal measures were taken against him, and he was referred, along with the seized items, to the competent authority, based on the instructions of the judiciary.

Accordingly, the specialized units of the Branch began their field and intelligence measures to identify and arrest the two aforementioned drug dealers. As a result of investigations and inquiries, the Branch was able to identify them as: – A. Z. (born in 1988, Lebanese) – A. D. (born in 1975, Lebanese) It was found that the first is wanted by the judiciary. On 19-06-2026, following precise surveillance and monitoring, one of the Branch’s patrols managed to arrest them in the act in the Dbayeh area, while they were promoting drugs on board a white “Sky Wave” motorcycle, which was seized. Upon searching them and the motorcycle, the following items were seized: – 11 nylon bags containing hashish. – 7 bags containing a narcotic substance. – 3 plastic containers containing cocaine base. – 4 plastic containers bearing a heart mark. – 11 plastic containers containing a narcotic substance. – A mobile phone and a sum of money. – A wallet containing an identity card and a driving license that did not belong to them. During the investigation, they confessed to the charges brought against them. The necessary legal measures were taken against them, and they were referred, along with the seized items, to the competent authority, based on the instructions of the judiciary.
