As part of the ongoing efforts by Internal Security Forces units to pursue and arrest individuals involved in drug-related crimes, and within the framework of the security plan established by the Judicial Police Unit to curb the spread of this scourge across various Lebanese regions:
After Airport Customs officers seized, on 11/02/2026, a parcel containing narcotic substances, the Central Anti-Drug Office immediately launched investigations and swift inquiries. As a result, it carried out a rapid and specialized operation leading to the arrest of the parcel’s recipient:
Sh. B. (born in 1981, Lebanese).
Through immediate interrogation and cross-checking of technical and forensic data, the warehouse he used to store the goods prior to distributing them to dealers and promoters was identified in the Zouk Mikael area. A patrol from the aforementioned office raided the warehouse and seized a large and diverse quantity of drugs, including:
Four plastic “Skittles” boxes containing colored jelly-like pellets.
A “Genz” cardboard box containing beige powder.
Four spray-shaped boxes (brand “Puffla”) containing cigarette-shaped items.
Two “Trippy Snax Dubay” cardboard boxes containing cigar pieces.
Three boxes branded “VS.”
One box branded “Polaris.”
97 ketamine vials.
93 pink cocaine wraps weighing 655 grams.
182 white cocaine wraps weighing 1,230 grams.
67 transparent bags containing cannabis resin weighing 1,125 grams.
Four slabs of cannabis resin weighing 1,270 grams.
49 nylon bags and two boxes containing marijuana weighing 1,325 grams.
14 nylon bags containing 640 ecstasy pills.
5 plastic wraps containing mushroom substance weighing 30 grams.
30 bags containing “choco mushroom” weighing 705 grams.
20 wraps bearing cocaine traces.
50 electronic cigarettes containing cannabis.
Three booklets of rolling papers.
A precision scale suitable for use.
A cannabis grinder.
Packaging bags for narcotics.
A vacuum-sealing machine.
An M4 rifle with a magazine containing 25 live rounds.
A sum of money.
The narcotics were seized, and a vehicle belonging to the detainee was impounded. Efforts are ongoing, in coordination with the competent judiciary, to arrest the remaining individuals involved.
The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: Several complaints and reports were received by the Jounieh Judicial Detachment regarding more than twenty burglaries carried out inside residences within its jurisdiction, involving forced entry. Accordingly, the said unit initiated investigation and surveillance operations. As a result of follow-up efforts and after a precise monitoring operation, on March 19, 2026, it arrested in Nahr Ibrahim a man identified as M. J. R. (born in 1996, Lebanese). His accomplice was also arrested during a raid on a residence in the locality of Aachqout, identified as B. J. F. (born in 1986, Lebanese). A quantity of stolen items was seized during the search. The necessary legal measures were taken against them, and they, along with the seized items, were referred to the competent authority based on the instructions of the relevant judicial authority.

A statement was issued by the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division: A citizen filed a complaint at the Sebaal police station, affiliated with the Zgharta unit of the Regional Gendarmerie, against: Ch. H. (born in 1989, Syrian national) on charges of theft. He stated that the suspect, who worked for him, broke into his warehouse in the town of Karm Sadda on 21-03-2026 and stole five barrels containing olive oil (each with a capacity of 160 liters). He also stole a white Suzuki pickup truck without license plates, whose key was inside, before fleeing to an unknown destination accompanied by his wife and her cousin. The total value of the stolen items, including the vehicle, was estimated at 9,000 US dollars. Following investigations conducted by the competent units of the Internal Security Forces, a patrol from the Halba Judicial Unit was able to locate the pickup truck, but not the oil barrels, in an area near the northern border. Accordingly, and based on instructions from the competent judicial authority, the General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces has circulated the suspect’s photo and requests anyone who has seen him or has any information about him or his whereabouts to contact the Sebaal police station at 06-595404. It is noted that anyone providing information will have their identity kept confidential in accordance with the law.

Issued by the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division, the following: On 21-03-2026, on the Tabarja highway – western lane, specifically near the Casino Bridge, a van collided with the metal guardrail on the right side. The accident caused damage to public property, resulting in the breakage and cracking of concrete pillars, as well as the bending of the metal guardrail toward the elevated valley, posing a danger to vehicles in case of collision.The Ministry of Public Works has been notified in order to address the issue. Citizens are requested to: Exercise extreme caution while driving in the area until the road is restored to its original condition. Comply with the instructions of Internal Security Forces personnel and the traffic signs placed for this purpose, to ensure road safety.

Issued by the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division, the following: Due to heavy rainfall and weather conditions, a collapse of soil and rocks occurred on the Qanater Zbeideh road in the Hazmieh area. As a result, the municipalities of Mansourieh and Hazmieh have closed the road until the risks are removed. Citizens are requested to comply with the instructions of Internal Security Forces personnel and the traffic signs placed in the area, in order to preserve public safety and prevent congestion.
