The Mount Lebanon Investigation Unit arrests a man who stole from a shop and another who shot a person, injuring him in the leg.

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement:

As part of the daily follow-up conducted by the Internal Security Forces to combat crime across various Lebanese regions, and after a video circulated on social media showing an individual stealing from inside a shop, operational units intensified their field and intelligence measures to identify the perpetrator and determine his whereabouts.

As a result of the investigation, the Mount Lebanon Investigation Unit of the Regional Gendarmerie identified the suspect and located his residence in the Airport Road area. A patrol from the unit then raided the location and arrested the suspect, identified as:

  • M. Ch. (born in 1983, Syrian), according to his statements.

In his possession, officers seized a quantity of cocaine and hashish, a sum of money, two mobile phones, and a black Sweet motorcycle.

In the same context, and based on information obtained by the Mount Lebanon Investigation Unit about a wanted individual involved in a shooting incident that resulted in a person being injured in the leg in the Roueiss area — along with a video circulating that included an audio recording in which he confessed — a unit patrol, following close surveillance, managed to arrest him in the same area. He was identified as:

  • N. Ch. (born in 1980, Palestinian), according to his statements.

The two detainees, along with the seized items, were handed over to the relevant units to take the necessary legal measures against them, in accordance with the instructions of the competent judicial authority.

The anti-gambling bureau arrests one of the most dangerous managers of illegal gambling and betting networks.

Issued by the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces - Public Relations Division The following statement: As part of the ongoing efforts of the Internal Security Forces to combat crime and reduce its spread, on December 6, 2025, the Anti-Gambling Bureau of the Judicial Police Unit received information about a network operating illegal online gambling and betting. Bureau patrols initiated the necessary investigations and inquiries, revealing that the network's activities extended to areas in North Lebanon and Hermel. Following diligent follow-up, officers from this bureau were able to arrest all members of the network on various dates. The investigations revealed that these individuals were linked to one of the largest promoters of illegal online gambling. On December 8, 2025, in the Safir area, he was arrested by a joint patrol of the Anti-Gambling Bureau and the Mount Lebanon Investigation Detachment of the Regional Gendarmerie Unit. His name is: - M.A.M. (Born in 1975, Lebanese) Phones, computers, and electronic equipment used to manage the network were also seized. The investigation is ongoing under the supervision of the competent judicial authorities.

The Information Division arrested a gang that stole from inside damaged homes in the border town of Blida and stole electrical cables.

The following statement was issued by the General Directorate of Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division: As part of the Internal Security Forces' daily efforts to combat theft crimes in various Lebanese regions, the Information Division received information about unidentified individuals committing thefts from damaged homes in the border town of Blida, Marjeyoun District, in addition to stealing electrical cables from the public grid. Consequently, the specialized units within the Division initiated field and investigative procedures to identify and apprehend the members of the gang. As a result of the investigations and inquiries, the Division was able to identify them as: - H.A. (born in 1971, Lebanese) - M.A. (born in 2002, Lebanese) - H.H. (Born in 1999, Lebanese) On November 24 and 25, 2025, following careful surveillance, patrols from the division apprehended them at their locations in Blida. During questioning, they confessed to committing more than 20 burglaries of residential homes in the town, stealing electrical wiring from the public grid. The stolen items included batteries, inverters, household furniture, and electrical cables, which they sold to scrap metal dealers. The necessary legal procedures were carried out, and they were handed over to the relevant authorities, as directed by the competent judicial body.

They were distributing drugs on a motorcycle in Keserwan, and the Information Division arrested them and seized a quantity of illegal substances.

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: As part of the daily efforts undertaken by the ISF to combat drug trafficking in various Lebanese regions, the Information Division received intelligence indicating that two unidentified individuals were distributing drugs while riding an unidentified motorcycle in the Keserwan area. Accordingly, orders were given to the specialized units of the Branch to carry out field and investigative procedures to identify and arrest the two dealers. As a result of the investigations conducted by the Branch’s personnel, it was determined that they are: Z. (born in 1996, Lebanese) G. (born in 2002, Syrian) On 21-11-2025, after close surveillance, one of the Branch’s patrols was able to locate them on a motorcycle in the Adonis area, where an ambush was set and they were arrested, and the motorcycle was seized. Upon searching them and the motorcycle, the following were found: 19 paper packets containing cocaine 9 plastic capsules containing cocaine Two bags containing marijuana and two others containing hashish Rolling papers and Sanita papers Two mobile phones and a sum of money During interrogation, they confessed to distributing drugs in the Keserwan area using the motorcycle on which they were arrested. The necessary legal measures were taken against them, and they were handed over—along with the seized items—to the competent authorities upon the instructions of the relevant judiciary.

A massage center in Dekwaneh turned into a suspicious venue: the Dekwaneh police unit, supported by the Mount Lebanon Investigation Unit, arrests 7 women and the owner, and seals the center with red wax.

The General Directorate of the Internal Security Forces – Public Relations Division issued the following statement: As part of the ongoing efforts exerted by the Internal Security Forces to combat various types of crimes, the Mount Lebanon Investigation Unit of the Regional Gendarmerie received information regarding prostitution activities taking place inside a massage center in the area of Dekwaneh, where several women were being exploited for this purpose. On 20-11-2025, following intensive investigations and surveillance conducted by the unit’s members, a patrol headed to the location, supported by a team from the Dekwaneh police station, and succeeded in arresting seven (7) women of different nationalities, in addition to the center’s owner and the guard. The center was sealed with red wax, and the necessary legal measures were taken against the detainees pursuant to the instructions of the competent judicial authority.
